Mods when Dawnguard hits PC

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 7:27 pm

I could see advanced 3d modelers and texturers making new crossbows. Dragonbone crossbow or someone may make unique weapons only important people have. I also could see more locations and people being added in.

People are already making new housing mods in preparation for Dawnguard. No joke. I'm amazed people haven't gotten started on Serena underwear retexes. Though, half the underwear mods I see are for males. Strange. The early ones were for females, though. I still wonder what people have against the loincloth...

There's also a mod that does the whole vampire hunting guild thing already. The wild werewolves thing has been around in mod form for months. You'd be amazed by just how much has from Dawnguard has been in mod form longer. I might be that person who makes sure there's some Khajiit if I care enough to bother with the add-on. Only reason I would is if most mods require it.

It's rather buggy you also cant feed if you become a vampire unless you have a mod like bottle the blood.

It's Neil Patrick Harris. Here I am asking the same question, how didn't you see it?

I wonder what people will do with the armored trolololols and armored Huskies. Already see a player home in the Soul Cairn complete with merchants and everything. I also see fast travel options in the Soul Cairn. Many ideas.

Those armored trolls will get the same treatment the trololo troll mod gave vanilla trolls. I can't imagine it not happening.

Endless possibilities are endless.

I'm looking forward to some actual remodels/reskins of the Vampire Lord. Similar to what was done to the Werewolf in the Monsters of Skyrim mod.

I'm hoping to see one that addresses the vampires that should be Cyrodiilic strain looking like the new vampires, an overhaul that adds the Cyrodiilic strain to Skyrim, makes the new vampires feel distinct, and allows them to use their Vampire Lord abilities in human form (at least vampiric grip and the bat one).

That would do a great deal towards pushing me to get a PC.

Also the inclusion of stray huskies (non-armored), the ability to give them more commands, have the armored huskies respawning (same with the hell hounds), tamable hell hounds if your a vampire, and the ability to name dogs, horses, etc owned by the player.

A Beast race version of Vampire Lords. Instead of Man-Bat, Argonian should have a Lizard-bat and Cat-bat vampire lords.
Vampire Lords' wings would be a full wing instead of that bony incomplete pair of limb.

Playable Snow Elf race.
Playable Troll race.
I hear that the bears may have some changes that can possibly be turned into Werebears.
Crossbows, lots and lots of crossbows. Might even make one myself.
From crossbows will probably come larger playable Ballistas, massively OP with horrendously slow reloading times (if kept a little balanced) to one shot Dragons out of the sky.

I would like to have a mod that makes your vampire lord form looks like the vampire lord form Harkon has. His vampire lord form has a red cloak/cape and it looks cool. as you can see here a reddish cape and à crown! : http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120628015919/elderscrolls/images/c/c8/DawnguardHarkonVampireLordForm.jpg

Playable Falmer.

Ancient Falmer Crown.

Guns. (In the past, people used the Crossbow Animation for guns.)

Tweaks to Vampire Lords.

This one would be pretty hard. AFAIK there isn't even a first person werewolf mod yet.

How about changing weapons displays and elder scrolls, so instead of selling them you can mount them on the wall to show off. Also a mod so that you can feed on people in torture rooms, eg DB Dawnstart sancturary - at the moment on 360 even vampire seduction won't work on them.

Already a mod that has guns. Many, actually.

Yeah but not one of them is particularly good, thanks to the limitation of using staff animations.

Eeyup. Normally crossbow animations are the best to use for gun mods in games like TES.. I for one never used any gun mod except one for Morrowind.. It was called "Devil's Gun" or something like that.. Basicly, it was one of those old old rifle guns used back in the Civil War times.. It was nice to use. Range-Combat and becomes a melee weapon when out of ammo.

Only gun mod I used for a TES game was on accident. Some mod added a gunblade to Morrowind. It was hilarious. The thing was so overpowered, though. Heh. It was such a random thing to find, though.

Interesting.. I guess I don't have that mod then.. The Devil's Gun I had wasn't overpowered, thxfully... I rarely used it anyways..
