hardcoe mod sounds intresting. Also i'm ready to start wasting mutants in steroscopic 3D. But thats not a feature of a game, more so of my computer.

I never knew that hardcoe mode would be this popular for others. It seems to be a common answer given.

For me, it will roughly be the following:

1) Faction interaction (such as the new reputation feature)
2) Weapon modification
3) Better companion control (through the new companion wheel)

Yup I'm loving these three too.

I am hoping weapon modding includes melee weapons so that I can finally attach a mini-nuke onto my Super Sledge.

1. hardcoe

2. Weapon mods

3. Hopefully the caravan game

I realy loved the final fantasy card games. In FF online I played cards more than the actual game. I was realy disappointed to see there is no texas holdem, especially considering its popularity. But I have high hopes for "caravan".

Games of chance seem dumb to me. The house wins its just a question of when. You can get odds slightly in your favor in blackjack, but that dont matter here. Luck stat and flawed RNG. Might as well just pay you for raising luck.

Bah sorry for the rant. No poker still hurts.

hardcoe mode is by far my most anticipated feature. Suddenly the things that could be largely ignored in FO3 have significance. And on top of that, it's a completely optional mode. The novelty!

Crafting getting expanded (to supplement the new features) is also pretty high on my list.

Being able to genuinely join the 'bad guys' is another one.

I'm a still on the fence about the 'kill anyone' setup. I'm thrilled about the freedom and open ended-ness it brings to the game, but I saw enough roaming monsters tear up towns and NPCs in FO3 to be a little concerned that I might wander into a town full of dead quest givers and merchants at some point.

Weapon mods and easier companion controls are both nice bonuses too.

So overall I'm pretty much in approval of nearly everything Obsidian has added to New Vegas.

1st. hardcoe, it makes an RPG game even more RPG and not Action/Shooter.

2nd. More and Shorter Quests, gives you a bigger variety and keeps you on your toes and not bored of the same old mission.

3rd. Humanoid and Non-Humanoid Companion, having two companions always makes things easier and better.

4th. Factions, always makes things more fun.

Theres now confirmed to be 180 quests. I can imagine what DLC will bring us.
