So it's like if you bought cereal and the commercial showed you a bowl of cereal with milk in it and you got home poured the cereal into the bowl and realized there was no milk and that you had to add it yourself. Now you've actually got to do something to make the cereal taste better. I'm saying tweaking the config files is something most PC Gamers should know about. It's a huge part of PC Gaming and the competitive side. All I did was copy and paste honestly and it worked. 60 FPS no pop-ins, no stutters, no crashes. I'm in Subway Town and I think I'm almost done with it. Anyway, don't jump the gun and say bethesda and id's fault. It's making PC Gaming look bad, it makes the companies we love look bad. Like stated before, I myself see as all the complaining as something that makes me feel like not going to college for game design but something a lot better. Not because I wouldn't be able to take the heat, but after giving console commands out to a community and still getting [censored]ed at. That's unfair. Almost all my PC games have had bugs and I've had to wait up to a week or a [censored] month!!!! Sometimes these games don't even get fixed all the way and the companies discontinue the product. I hope you have a better understanding of the PC gaming world after reading this. - There is [censored] I wanted to say but left out cause I'm missing FB chat since I'm on this forum lmao.
- It's graphic card drivers. From what my friend has, you can tell its not the game. He gets 60 FPS but gets crashes sometimes just after loading. That's graphics. Wait for the new drivers they are coming soon.
Nope that anology is wrong. The cereal company is not advertising cereal WITH milk in their product. A better anology would be a car company advertising a new car with a brand new engine that runs on all current fuels. Only when you buy the new car and fill it up it doesn't run or runs like crap. Then the car company tells you, "Well, that's because of the fuel your using. It isn't that compatible with our engines". The car runs with the current fuel sure, but it runs like crap. Not exactly what you were told when you bought the car.
I am a gamer and computer professional, however I know people who are gamers and not computer professionals. See this is the problem, just because YOU know enough about computers and tweaking game files and your system, doesn't necessarily mean everyone also does. It's an extremely narrowed minded thought process you follow. In addition, yes, I have tweaked many a game files in the past to get optimal performance out of a game, but this is the first time I've had to do that just to get it to run.
And the OP seems to think everyone who has an issue is someone who is an idiot and doesn't know how to keep their computer in tip top shape, again that is that narrowed minded way of thinking. I have problems with this and in fact cannot progress past Bash TV. And not because my computer is [censored] or I running fat, quite the contrary. I have a dedicated gaming machine that I use strictly for gaming. I run it lean, no extraneous applications or services. It has been able to run everything that I throw at it with ease with the exception of this game. So tell me, if my hardware/software/drivers are all up to date and the current standard, and I can run any other game with little issue, then what would be the cause of this game not running right, my system? Drivers? Software? I say it's the brand new game engine they put out. If I I have no problems with anything else, then logic dictates the one, and brand new, application/game that has issue has to do with that particular application/game.
Am I saying that the drivers are not the issue? No? What I'm saying is the current and established standard of hardware/drivers is not the issue. It is an issue with the game not being completely compatible with the current standard. That's what so many of you have a hard time understanding. And thus it makes it a GAME issue and not a diver issue directly. It's up to the game devs to make sure the game is compatible WITH CURRENT STANDARDS!
