"The Good, the Bad, and the Weird", a Korean western set in Manchuria in the 30s. A bounty hunter and an assassin (played by the guy who's Storm Shadow in the G.I. Joe movies) chase a thief with a treasure map. Weird as crap, but entertaining.
Been reading the book and I think it's pretty good. Sometimes her writing reminds me of Hemingway, so I really love that style.
Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. I think the detail she uses is totally unecessary and I find the morals or lack thereof espoused by her works to be reprehensible. It's a polarising book I guess.
All great movies, but I didn't know there was a second Boondock film!
There is. There's talk of a third too, which would be cool. I thought the first was better, but the second is definitely worth watching.
"And Shepherds we shall be; For thee, my Lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomeni Patri, Et Fili, Spiritus Sancti."
That film used to terrify me as a kid. Theres one part I remember vividly. Scooby and Shaggy fall into an open grave and a zombie comes out of the wall at them, making really nasty zombie noises. As a kid I used to imagine being trapped like that with a zombie and it just freaked me out.
Millers and Bringing out the Dead are two good underrated movies by Coen Bro.s / Scorsese respectively. You should also check out http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1560139/ if you've ever heard of Flight of the Concords. Gotta promote the homegrown stuff and the films pretty full of lulz.

I can vouch for the awesomeness of 'Bringing Out the Dead', it really conveyed the surreal chaos the characters were in perfectly.
