Anyone else experience this? I know a few xbox users have but haven't found this being talked about on here. It's devastatingly loud and just becomes distorted. This isn't a setup issue or HDMI or anything else, it's definitely a glitch. I play in a pretty expensive home theater and it is amazing that this got through development....

Has anyone heard of this getting into the next patch? You would think it's pre-alpha, not finished product. I'm glad I'm not the only one hearing this.

I know this problem has been brought up many times and it's been listed a lot in this topic. Whenever the music overlap glitch occurs, I just quickly hit the mute button until the game starts. It's bad enough that the volume gets too loud, but the sound is a little bit distorted at the same time.

It is not a glitch and it is not a bug.
I have experience in the music recording industry, and I can tell you that when they recorded the final version of the music, the had the gain turned up too loud.

When they installed that music file onto the game disc, it was already distorted. It is not your system, your speakers, your settings or your headset. It is the song.

That is why it will still sound distorted even if you turn your volume right down to a level where you can barely hear it. They screwed the levels up when they recorded the original song. It is gong to sound like that forever, until they patch it with a version that does not have the gain amplified so high.

Hi everyone new to these forums
Im lovin Crysis 2 and a big thank you for the early patch already (1.2 i think) however i still have a problem of the music ( mainly in the multiplayer menus) getting really loud and it's a very annoying problem.
Was this meant to be fixed???
If not will it be fixed??
Thank you =)

I dont think they have fixed that yet. for 1.2 all it says thats fixed regarding the music is..

- Fix for missing and corrupt sounds
- Fix for music tracks repeating when they shouldn’t, and two different tracks occasionally playing at the same time

I have experienced that the main menu music is playing at the same time as the multiplayer menu music is playing.

This is quite annoying.

Has anybody else experienced this.

I'm with TC the music gets really laud when you're in a lobby waiting for the match to start, so I put the music volume all the way down for now.

Merged.

Guys, it's much easier for us to track important issues if the info is all in one big thread, not scattered across multiple small threads. Please search before posting - you're only helping us help you.
