And about Jac. You really don't understand it, do you? If I want a bag that I can use and wear without people looking at me, I go to a shop where they sell bags and I buy a good bag there. Now if I want some collectible item that looks unique and is very limited I will buy myself some collectible item.

Now guess what.. People who buy the Nano-edition don't buy a bag, they buy a (expensive) collector’s item. They will probably never (or almost never) where it. Maybe with some dress party (indeed pretending like there some sort of future soldier) but that’s about it. People who own picture disc LP's ( http://www.bobssoundadvice.com/images/view.aspx?productId=1682 ) also never or almost never use them to listen to. A picture disc LP hangs on the wall being pretty.

And about cancelling. Some people maybe can’t anymore, depending on when they ordered and the laws in their country. But besides that, People don’t just buy it for the bag, they buy it for the collectible. Now if they then see that one of the items has a new not so good looking design (while the first one had) they are disappointed but that does not mean they don’t still want a collectors-item of this game. Anyway, I really hope Crytek uses the first design. Everybody sees that the first one looks more unique and special then the second one.

(The first one you put on a shelf next to the box of the game and the second one you could take to work but you probably still don’t)

Yeah I also liked the first one better. I see people here telling that the second one is bigger or stronger. It's not like I am going to use it a lot. It's a collectors item and then the first one is much better as collectors-item then the second one.

I did not order the Nano-edition just for the backpack but still I hope it will be the first one. Then it fill be nice to place next to the game-box. The second one will not. About the cost. Ofcourse EA needs to make money but it's also not like the Nano-edition is 10 euro more expensive as the normal one. It's about 3 times the price. Besides that, the Nano-edition is ordered by the real fans, you especially should not want to disappoint them.

That change got me thinking too. I pre-ordered the nano edition, but I can cancel it anytime. I'm gonna look for more pictures about that new bag. I liked the old one.

I still like the first one better. The new one is to.. normal. The first one easy fits into the new one so I would not mint getting both. Anyway, I still go for the Nano-edition. I like the game, I want a collectible and I like to support the team.

Same here, still getting the nano-edition, even though I'm disappointed about the backpack. Still, the second one looks very nice as well, especially quality-wise.

hi my name is linda i been looking for how and where to purchase the crysis 2 nano edition for my son for his birthday. but they are all sold out so a really nice person named migs008 refereed me to this post because they saw that someone may want to cancel there order. if so could let me know as soon as possible i would really appreciate it because it would make my son happy for his 17th birthday if i could purchase the nano edition for him.

If you could tell the names of some online stores that you can order from, I could keep an extra eye out for the nano edition in case someone (like you said) cancels a pre-order of it.

gamestop does not carry nano edition at all i went to 2 different gamestop's in my area. one gamestop told me they were going to have it so i kept checking back and, they never receive it where you could purchase it. so i driven over to another gamestop close by and, that is where they told me i could only purchase it from a online store name ea so when i arrived home i process through the web to electronic arts web site and, they did not have it available for purchasing so it was like a huge confusion and run around trying to locate the nano edition for my son.

Nano edition is sold out for the moment in all of those sites, just checked.

I don't know when his birthday is but if it's after the release of the game (22nd of march) you could probably get it second hand but un-opened in new condition at http://www.ebay.com . Sometimes people buy it just to sell it shortly after for a more expensive price since it's limited. It will most likely be more expensive but that could be an alternative.

Thank you Sebastian for you kind help i did contact the store in New Zealand that you posted the website of there prices for shipping is very high compared to the other link that you have posted of the games uk website they have a very much more reasonable price of $203.95 and, it would take them 1 week to ship it to the United States of America. the New Zealand store want's $475 and, it wold take 4 to 6 weeks for them to ship it here in the United States of America.

Hi, at first I thought it said "UK only" because of delievery problems (seeing that the package is the backpack which is quite big I think) but I guess it might be because of it being in PAL.

Sorry to say I'm not 100% sure, but I think it won't work on it. I think it works as some kind of regional lockout, but the web site ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAL_region
) also says "some Xbox and Xbox 360 games are region-free encoded, since Microsoft's policy is for publishers to decide." so it might work. Still in the terms&condition text for the product it says "UK only", could be a misprint but could also mean it's PAL locked.

PAL region refers to console games only, specifically to Xbox 360 games.

If you're looking for the PC version of Crysis 2 then you shouldn't even hear of PAL region.

Your statement is a load of BS. Yes you might not have ever "announced" any back pack images prior to the release of your own image but you "guys" clearly didn't deny it either! The main reason i dont honestly believe you is if you look at the pictures you "guys" claim didn't have anything to do with you. You guys forgot one thing! The statue in those early pictures looks rather like the same one doesn't it? Or was that some lucky guess by some people and it looked sooo good you copied it lmao. And if you say they were early concept pictures bravo indeed! so where did they come from? It is your property and should be better controlled then getting leaked!

I already know the real reason like so many other half intelligent people. Money. The cost of making a half decent looking back pack in the first images you can tell is higher then that piece of **** you guys stuck in the second one. The quality is absolutly nasty. It is very cheap and tacky. The spine that has about eight clip like things holding it together on the inside. Yeah i wont be using it outside but i am lucky to get it out the box with out it falling apart. As a fan i really do like the game overall and it is some serious fun! and a quality game. But in future please give accurate information ASAP from yourselfs and not let us paying Customers be very disappointed, i paid very handsomely for my nano editions and would like a quality product or dont make some half hashed attempt at a piece of ****. Maybe next time leave some time for a special quality product and if you really dont want to make a loss. Make people pay in advance for the special edition so you guys know how many to order! Yeah i know it takes time etc. But show a tiny bit of compassion to your fans. If that is not to much to ask.

And forgive me but anyone who says they prefer the second one over the first backpack. Has very poor taste, or likes to be treated like S**t form general society as he/she just takes what ever he/she is given and has no real opinion of there own "They are just a number!" literally.
