Seriously, who decided on the new Nano Edition bag design? I pre-ordered the Nano Edition back in October with my special EA birthday discount and now I want to cancel it since the new bag is hideous. Disappointed they scam us by releasing the new ugly design after most of us pre-ordered based on the original and better design. First and last time I pre-order directly from EA.

How has it changed?

That bag always looked a bit 'ghey' to me anyhow - I certainly wouldn't wanna be seen in the street with it. I do like the 'Alcatraz' statue though, still much too costly for my wallet.

Id like to hear from an admin which back pack we are actually gonne get????

Gay! i just read the article about the nano edition and how theyve changed the backpack. thats crap the first backpack was waaaaay better loooking. i guess it prob cost too much to make or something.. ahhh well there goes my pre order of nano edition... limited edition it is for me

Personally, the new design actually looks much better, the spine color just needs to be changed to blue or red.

yeah, but the new backpack looks really big and bulky. i mdont like big bulky bags... the on in the picture is much much sleeker and i personally like that kind of material for backpacks that the one in the picture is made from

lets just say the NANO edition wont really be famous for the backpack in particular...

in my opinion they both look ridiculous but the spine looks much more detailed and attractive on the original one.

You really think the back back is worth a lot....?
Majority of these type of products are made in China, And Let's just say the Chinese aren't well known for making good top quality products. Lets not forget, why would EA themselves spend a lot of money on each back back and lose money out of it? They are in the business for profit. Rethink your comment next time ~~

I like the EA scammed us comment lol. You didn't buy it yet so they didn't scam anyone. If Crytek never released an updated look at the package and everyone assumed they would be getting the old design than you could say you were scammed. I wouldn't care which design I got even if I wasn't told.

I'm so disappointed. The original would have went with the grey vibrams I plan on getting in the spring. Plus I look built so I wouldn't look like too much of a tool.

How is the old design better? The spine is obviously plastic and looks like it would rip off in less than a month.

The new desigin while maybe not having the spine look as badass, will atleast have something of practical use for longer than a couple weeks.

Long story short, I'd prefer the second edition of the backpack. It feels more sleek from its looks than the first revealed one.

Anyway, I guess if I HAD to choose one, I would choose the second one since it actually looks like a backpack. The first one looks like a really cheap costume(imo).

Still looks 'ghey' either way but you enjoy your bag - you can walk down the street pretending to be a future soldier and everything! Enjoy.

Honestly, they both kind of svck. The first looks kind of small, but I admit the details are better, as the spinal brace looks metallic(but it undoubtedly isn't). The second one looks kind a bit better in quality, but it has a fail attempt at the spinal brace, and the whole design looks horrible. I mean seriously, it's flipping flat. However, it does look bigger, and it has that padded laptop pocket. If they had mixed both of them together, it would've been better in my opinion. But I wouldn't buy the Nano edition for the pack, the statue and steel box are what catch mai eyes.

I pre-ordered at Wehkamp.nl And they didn't even have a picture. I was hoping to get the first one, it looks better, is more recognisable and the material seems a lot nicer to wear. I don't like bulky backpacks.
But the thing I hate most is that we're just going to have to wait for the day it gets delivered, and see which one it will be.
Is there any way to obtain the first backpack after release date?

So, I recieved an e-mail about the pre-orders today from gamesas, and no doubt more of you have, and it included a picture of all the contents of the nano edition displayed. It looks like we're getting that second backpack (unfortunately, imo) and the Alcatraz model is kind of blue... anyway, not what I'd hoped for, but I'm not cancelling.

Even when it just hangs in your home, the first one would be preferable. I'm disappointed as well, though I think we can be certain it'll be the second one. I was hoping for the first one. Still.. the second one has some appeal.

scam? How so? It's not like you CAN'T go and "unpreorder" the nano edition of the game......because you CAN, and thus it is no scam. It's just a freakin' bag tho, deal with it.
