Napoleon Dynamight TV series.

The movie was terrible. I honestly didnt laugh a single time. I cannot for the life of me understand why people think its a "classic".
This, so much, this.

I understood everything the movie was going for, but the movie was just really dumb. It felt like something a hipster would like. I don't see how it got so popular to begin with.

The movie is one of those movies that requires a specific sense of humor. I loved it.

This. You either get it or you don't.

For me, the movie is something I can always watch and never get sick of.

The movie used dry British/King of the Hill type humor to create jokes from mundane, regular life activities...that's the entire point. Other movies like "The Hangover" are completely different; they're actually trying to be funny.

Granted, I enjoyed both of the aforementioned films, but dry humor isn't for everyone.

I love British humour, I love dry humour and I love it when they are combined, but I still really did not find anything funny in this movie.

Just my perspective though and it is definitely a niche humour.

I like some British humour (Monty Python), dry humour---depends, but down right stupid humour (ala Bevis and Butthead) is OUT OF THE QUESTION....I can't stand that type of humour...!
ND (at least the tv show) made me laugh in quite a few scenes.

The movie was not good, which is why it was popular.
Or people actually found it to be funny.....?

That's not true at all. I enjoy British humour AND KOTH, but I felt like ND was just dumb. It felt like it was trying to hard to be funny using nerdy deadpan humour. It's pretty sad that I can find Tim and Eric's Awesome Show funny, but not ND. >_>

I never said that if you liked those types of humor then you'd like ND; I just said that the types of humor are very similar to what ND used. I'm sure that there were episodes of KoTH that you didn't like, and various films that use British humor that you don't like .

Doesn't look like the same kind of humor as the original movie. I'm not interested in it.

This. The movie had that dry, quirky for the sake of being quirky humor to it. This does not. It just doesn't have that same awkwardness.

Also, before it gets brought up, I love Juno as well. Smart ass pregnant teenager who listens to Iggy and the Stooges? Yes, please.

No interest in watching the show. I can't help but think "People really paid to see this in theaters" when I see the movie on TV. Like others have said I can see where the humor is supposed to be, it's just not funny to me.
