I just saw this on tv and althought I never saw the movie, the cartoon series was actually funny and clever. So what's your guys take on this new show on Fox?

I'm not going to watch the series. I didn't like the movie, I'm not willing to see the show. Maximum amount of time I will watch the show, 3 seconds. Flipping the channels takes a bit.

It has been a while since I have seen the movie. I barely remember it so I cannot say if I laughed or not.

But recall or not, I think it is a bit risky to make a TV series out of it. Especially an animated one.

This is really scraping the bottom of the barrel for TV show ideas.

Can't wait till they have the cartoon series about Juno the pregnant sixteen year old highschool girl. I think TV and movies were actually better when the writers went on strike.

Doesn't look like the same kind of humor as the original movie. I'm not interested in it.

Funny and clever aren't the words I would choose to describe this show, I honestly don't see how anyone could find anything clever about it. Possibly one of the dumbest things I've ever watched.

Cartoon American Idol.
It would actually work. Anyone remember Drawn Together?

According to a brief review I read for no reason, the Napoleon Dynamite show has little to do with the original in terms of humor. It was described as more of a Simpsons style show. Which is a shame because those are a dime a dozen now, and the original's humor was fairly unique as far as American humor goes.

The movie was terrible. I honestly didnt laugh a single time. I cannot for the life of me understand why people think its a "classic".

The movie was okay, not something I'd go out of my way to watch again. Haven't seen anything but previews for the cartoon, doesn't look like my kind of show, but I'm still curious as to why it took them eight years to get it on TV.

Napoleon Dynamite was all but forgotten in my school within a month. This seems awfully late.

You'll either love it or you'll hate it and him for ever giving you the idea to see it. I did not like it...at all.

Or he'll be completely and utterly neutral. There's no nuance when it comes to opinions about Napoleon Dynamite.

Yeah I'm pretty much neutral on ND but I'll give the movie a shot the next time I'm at Blockbusters.

It's a terrible idea for a cartoon because the original movie hasn't been relevant for the better part of a decade

I did see a guy wearing a 'Vote for Pedro' shirt recently.

Although I'm pretty sure he was homeless and drugged up to the eyeballs, so I'm guessing it wasn't for any kind of statement.

He's allowed to be a political activist as much as the next bum.

The movie was not good, which is why it was popular.

The Cartoon is terrible, which is why it will be cancelled.

The movie was released 7 years ago...I honestly can't imagine why they'd want to start a TV show so long after. However, it's definitely a plus that they got all of the original cast back for it.

Anyway, I haven't watched it, nor do I plan to.
