Id like to see some mutated animal that can fly.

Id also like to see some neutral, mutated animals. Ones that dont attack unless you attack it.

I like the Raider Leader idea......I would like that to apply to all NPC "squads."

Agreed. Maybe mutant vultures? I think it would help immersion just to see regular vultures circling around overhead when you are lost in the wasteland and near death. Or eating other dead people in the wasteland. The vultures will have your bones picked clean by morning.

They had this in FO3, they were basically harder to kill raiders. It'd be nice to actually see them named though.

CL Legionaires. Top warriors of CL always carry a scrap sword and 2-3 throwing spears. High Str, End, and AGI.

I really don't like the idea of a Feral King at all. Reminds me too much of Ghoul Reavers and Ghoul Roamers, which were immensely stupid.

Yeah, you just have to watch their health or how many shots you put into them. Say your using a shotgun. It took one to shoot the 'grunt' raiders while some seem to have more health so you gotta put 2-3 shots into them. I shot all around in the torso area at point blank range in realtime and in vats. But yeah.

There are generally a few raiders that have a bit more health then the regular ones. Maybe not in small 2-3 bands of raiders but usually 4+ groups have one in the bunch.

A raider with an eye patch and a peg leg. Occasionally yells things like, "avast, me harteees!," and, "yarr...all ye stinkin' lubbers' treasure are belong to me!" You can loot a stuffed parrot and a bootleg copy of "The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard" from his body.

Powder ganger grenadier :GL or just grenades and a backup weapon. (if homemade grenades that aren't superstrong exist he should wield those rather than frags)
NCR Artillery Ranger(feel free to suggest a better name):Desert armor-clad Ranger that wields a grenade machine gun and tends to lob volleys at long rang, keeping his/her distance.
NCR Battle wagon: small wagon pulled by brahmin (old west style -canvas top) that carries a small group of NCR troops and quickly drops them off.
CL Chariot: 3 man chariot (motorized or animal) 2 of the troops would be armed(with varying weapons), one would serve as a driver. Troops may disembark or fight while the Chariot moves about.
Chrome Gecko: Especially durable (but not necessarily powerful) silver(ish) gecko.
*adjective* Cazador: An off-color cazador that has a very unique property to its sting.(paralyze, which would make sense given the insect, blurred vision, *insert suggestions here*
Nightkin Berzerker: A mad Nightkin who feels that its honor is lost due to its use of Stealth Boys(sneaking is for honorless fiends after all) that uses only melee weapons, never cloaks, and has more health than a normal Nightkin.

Heh...I was kidding anyway.

How about a deathclaw that wears a Santa hat? That's all...just a regular deathclaw with a Santa hat. If you kill him his friend with a Hitler mustache comes looking for you. Then, "Carrot Top," the least funny deathclaw of them all.

LockNess monster type thing since the Hoover dam supposedly has a monster infested lake near it.
Giant fire gecko.(run its godzil--)
Robobrains that can use guns, like the ones i have heard about in the originals.
Madmen who believe they are wizards with magical equipment but are really just using energy weapons.
CL Troopers who are obsessed with Grognak the Barbarian to such an extent that they dress like him and wield fire/battle?! axes.
Raider commander who wears Desert armor(either be an NCR deserter or someone who managed to steal/loot some.)
Feral ghouls with unarmed weapons(specifically brass/spiked knuckles or bladed gauntlets.). (either they know how to use them, or happened to be wearing them upon going feral.)
Mobster Hitmen: Ambush the player by sneaking up to them (maybe they would just be called mobsters to not give it away) in a town or city and then attack after getting close/surrounding him/her.
Outlaws: Criminals who still act like it is the Old West, and thus they dress like cowboys, talk like cowboys, and use revolvers.
Ghoul suicide bomber: Recent(or feral) ghouls who can't bear it anymore and intend to take their own lives (and your life as well).
Baby mantis: Small(er than dogs) and hard to spot, often come in large swarms/packs, even when compared to their advlt counterparts.
*Adjective/species/???* Radscorpion: A scorpion(that looks unlike its normal cousins) with weak melee attacks but a very powerful poison.
Just for Fun: Salmon(or some other common fish)-Shark: lives in large bodies of water, is very large, and can crawl slowly on land, and it packs a nasty bite!

How about a deathclaw that wears a Santa hat?

When ever hes near little children they yell 'SANTA CLAWS!' the smart kids runaway while the dumb ones run right for him.

Glandular Radscorpion for ig88-just sounds cool.

CL Snipers: Lightly armored troops with cloaks(capes, not stealth fields) and some sort of cool visor/goggles along with that head-wrap some of the troops have. They fight from a distance with scoped weapons. Occaisonaly will wait for an enemy to pass a chokepoint before popping out from their hiding spots (like up on the sides of a canyon's cliffs) and attack their foes from behind. Uses machetes at close range and may flee if losing at close combat.

Harbinger: The elite of the CL. Given the most advanced armor and weaponry. 1.5x's more health than average soldier.

CL Assassin: Equipped with bladed gauntlets and light/sneak-oriented armor, these troops quickly rush the player from odd angles and lay in wait around corners. Their gauntlets are often poisoned, and they may be equipped with *small thrown weapon * that has a very crippling/paralyzing or (temporary duh)De-buffing poison. If the poison de-buffs, i think it should affect Strength and endurance, imagine fighting through a CL base only to suddenly be stuck in place with a lowered max HP and DT. Higher level Assassins may have Stealth Boys.

Super Mutant Overbearer: A crazed super mutant who, like Tabitha believes itself female(even if it isn't) and treats its accompanying group of SM's as its children, who in turn consider her to be their mother. This SM wears a wig, has larger than average amounts of HP, and carries a powerful weapon.

NCR Assassin: Like Boone, only in uniform, and your enemy. Carries various sniper weapons.

Harpies: Mutated birds(like falcons or vultures) that let out a piercing shriek on the occasion that they dive down at their prey(which may in fact be you!)

Poseidon(or Poseidon's Hounds): Poseidon's Hounds would be very large mutated Crawdads, similar to mirelurks, only worse. Poseidon could be a unique and massive version of the Hounds.

King Machine: A large high-level version of secutitrons or some other powerful robot, only with a crown. (or an Elvis wig  .)

I would call them Poseidon's Horses. Poseidon is well known in greek myths for creating horses for man in a competition with Athena. I think it would be more fitting.

That's true, good idea. I just thought hounds because, well horses don't sound too intimidating.

CL Gladiator: Actually they are former gladiators who joined the Legion's military and were given a unique rank in honor of their bravery in their matches. Equipped with an awesome helmet and unique(to their rank) armor. They wield various melee weapons including pitchforks(called tridents), javelins, and a sword(or machete)-shield combo(counts as a single weapon) that allows them to block incoming attacks that strike the shield.

SM Pyromaniac: I mentioned this in another thread: SM with a firefighter helmet, incendiary grenades, a flamer or a grenade machine gun with incendiary grenades.

Mad Bomber: Raider-esque NPCs that use all manner of explosive weapons, and are prone to shouting "Boom Baby!". There could be a random encounter in which a group of them bomb a caravan/group of travelers, but it only occurs near/at midnight.

I don't like the idea of stronger ghouls.

I just want to see creatures with stronger poison. The radscorpions' poison should be alot more deadly. Give us back the anti-poison please devs.

When it comes to enemies there are things that can be done insted of making them bigger and stronger. Give them better armour, better AI, better fire power and more numbers.

In the original Fallouts the enemies might not have thousands of HP but they make up for it by having the fire power, armour and numbers. I get attacked all the time by large numbers in the Originals.

This does not mean I don't want new enemies, just not new super stronge ghouls. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Mutant_cannibal
