Christopher Plummer did an awesome job. Very believable. Also like the voice of the man who was on the throne at 4:15. I'm hoping the animations(gestures) of the characters go well along with the voice acting that's going on. I just dont want the characters to be just standing there and have sound coming out of them. Still better than Oblivion

Christopher Plummer is indeed amazing. Though he has done another game. It was really just a reprisal of his role in Star Trek 6, and it wasn't really voicework, but on a greenscreen, but it was for a game none the less, "Klingon Academy".

I'm about 99.9% certain that the guy on the throne is http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0474520/ "Vladimir Kulich" He played Buliwyf in The 13th Warrior. Also an amazing voice.

This game is going to be so amazing just to explore! The sound, the look, the acting, the variety of EVERYTHING!!! Can't wait!

Great job everyone!

I have not watched the video yet but I listened to the podcast. Mark, my mother is a birder...I know just how your wife feels, lol. It must be an incredibly fun job...sound gathering anyway.

And I must say...Hammered Dulcimer FTW!

omg the dragon doing the dragon shout was amazing, Love the fact that dragons don't breathe fire they shout it like dovahkiin. Well I guess it's dovahkiin who shouts like the dragons. I just find it an original take on the whole.

God...Christopher Plummer's voice is absolutely golden.
It really is, I've never even heard of him before and when it was showing him do his lines I was wow that is really good.
Awesome video though, I really enjoyed getting a glimpse behind the scenes, really makes me wish I was getting the CE so I can watch the making of DVD.

This was a great podcast and I really enjoyed it. Mark sounds like a great guy and it's great the way he describes what he does. I've seen him talk about his work in the videos in January. It's cool how his cat is in the game too...and I'm sure his wife's footsteps walking away are going to be in something. :D It's going to bring everything more to life when I finally hear all the sounds he's been working on. Thanks again to the Skyrim team for making this game. Everything points to it being an incredible experience when I can finally play it. :)

I see the NPC's hardly move their arms again. Although still sliglty more emotive than Fallout 3/Oblivion.

I rather loved the multi-lingual extract from a tavern song. I'm really looking forward to them now.

I'm surprised that they took the trouble to translate them all. Really amazing work.

Everything looks and sounds fantastic. The actors seem to be genuinely having a blast, which should afford us some excellent voice acting.

The only nitpick I have at this moment is the fact Bethesda still can't capture their body language. So NPCs still look a bit stiff, even if better posed than what we saw in Oblivion (not to mention far better looking). Here's hoping that in TESVI, the technology used in LA Noire will have become be pretty standard. It really adds another layer to character interaction.

What the hell happened to Emil Pagliarulo!? He used to look like this:

I guess we know why Acrobatics and Athletics were cut. This jerk obviously hogged it all for himself. The man's lost an impressive amount of weight. Gstaff and associated persons, pass along our kudos. Man should get a [censored] medal or something. Or maybe he sold his goatee to the devil or something.

What a truly memerizing podcast! It's pretty obvious that Skyrim will rate a solid 10 in the music and effects soundtrack department. If any of the reviewers give it less, then they've ears of tin! Twas only 20 minutes, but the character writing, is light years ahead of Oblivion, the voices seem incredibly good at least for the top level NPCs, and the soundscapes of the lands are phenomenal. And Jeremy Soule's compositions literally had the hairs on my arms standing up, I'm still tearing a bit as well. I'm almost as enthusiastic about getting the 4 CD soundtrack now, as I am getting the game itself, it's that good! What else can I say, except, audibly, this game will be a masterpiece. Thank you Bethesda for putting the resources towards this too often neglected, yet intergral part of a gaming experience. If the visuals, gameplay, and adventure/plot lines are as well realized, then this will be the best RPG experience ever created. Hmmm, well sorry for the heretical words, it will at least be PRETTY DAMN GOOD!

The music at the end is gorgeoussss.

And there's a pretty little re-working of the latter half of the oblivion theme around 13:30. Can barely contain my excitement!
