They look very good. Trust me. Much, much better than Oblivion's.

Why hasn't Bethesda shown much of them then? They seem to be promoting one handed weapons and magic a lot but two handed weapons have only made incredibly rare appearances. I hope it's for us to get a pleasant surprise when we actually play the game.

They look really good. I have no idea why they refuse to show much footage of them. Actually, correct me if I'm wrong, but, I'm pretty sure we've only seen a two handed axe in official gameplay.

It's a very well edited video (the first link), it so well done that it hides some of the uncomfortable animation I have seen from some of the gameplay.

What has changed about 2H?

1H has dual wield.
Magic has new magic system

They are obviously gonna show off their new combat features instead of the "old" one aka 2H weapons.

This makes it HARD to decide how to play!
Was much of a ranger in Oblivion, some one handed combat as well. Always played sorta stealthy, but how on earth will I be able to decide now? :violin:

What has changed is that they are better than in Oblivion, I've read that a lot of times. I don't think they should neglect an entire weapon style just because there are new weapon styles. Shield and Sword isn't very new but it has been shown more than two-handed weapons. Sure, shields can bash now but so can two-handed weapons.

They were showing off finishing move animations and spell animations in this video and they didn't even show a single two-handed weapon. Makes me think that the two handers don't have nice finishing moves or something.

Let me do it real simple.

Car Dealer: Heres our old car, what we've done is paint it a different color and we made the brakes better, OR would you like to see our whole new sportscar? Its based on the old ones but they are so much more! Oh, we could also show you this old car, but again, completely revamped!

Did you get the point? New stuff sells better instead of showing the same old same old.
Still dont understand? Then youre simply not clever enough Im afraid.
