I want the thing from that video where you can pay to design and build your own house.

Yeah, werebears. And wererabbits. And weremonarch butterflies. And weretadpoles. Were (get it?) does it stop?

We already got improved werewolves in Dawnguard. I would much prefer them to do something completely new.

OMG Were Butterfly! i want it now!!

I'd rather we have DLC that focus in a new direction instead of Were-creatures and Vampires.

Agreed. Even tho the vampire centric Dawnguard was OK. I don't wanna see every DLC deal with it.

I can see everybodys concern, but surely, beef out the werewolf side of though? just make werewolf transformations forced... not a skill... that is the only thing that ruins it for me, its a curse, so it should be treated as a "forced" curse... so as long as the next DLC includes "changes werewolf to forced transformations" and that would be awsome! ... so that way they don't make a whole dlc based on it.

if they do add werebears, what would they be like. i saw the gamejam video, and the part with the werebear had it charging into a group of gaurds and ragdolling them into the ground. i admit, thats was pretty cool(and funny) to watch, but the werebear seemed a bit slow to me. would we have faster werewolves and slower werebears.

The companions dont consider it a curse, neither does wolverine and he can control his transformations, as can the companions. Kodlak was old and senile, likely he hadnt had a cohesive thought for years. I roleplay a character from the psygic order and read the other companions minds, they were going to kill Kodlak for denouncing his gift from hyrcine.

You never really talked to the Companions, did you? And one other thing; Wolverine isn't in the Elder Scrolls universe. Whatsoever.

As a werebear you would probably be this big tank. And deal out some massive damage. Bear claws are deadly things.

I roleplay as a member of the psygic order and read the companions minds. My characters name is wolverine and is therefore in the skyrim universe, duh.

You sounds nervous; is it the accent? You want to know how I got it? My father was a drinker, one night he went a little crazier then usual, so my mummy got the teapot to defend herself. He didn't like that, so he pours boiling hot tea all over her. Then he comes at me with the teapot and he asks "Why so British?"

Vilkas and Farkas are on Kodlak's side about lycanthropy, and the two of them could easily overpower Aela, who is all by her lonesome.

No were-anything and no more vampires! (Yes yes vamps always been part of TES lore, but I think most people are pretty sick of the Vampire trend nontheless)
not really i mean vampires are supposed to be in the game just bethesda as to make them super powerfull as normall . and werewolves would be nice in the future games too !
i mean just because 100 people dont want vamps doesnt mean 50 dont want to role play with it . the same with the werewolves!

I'm not sick of vampires or werecreatures. They are one of the most interesting things in TES lore.

They should make the next xpac a continuation with vampires but with more of a twilight type story emphasis. Maybe they could get some of the twilight cast as voice actors :)

... Aela is useless anyway, Skjor can't fight (as evidenced by the Companions questline), Farkas is scared of spiders, and Vilkas can't think properly when he's angry. Not exactly the most functional wolf pack.

maybe bethesda should make it. i mean, it would make the game more lorewise. say we get cooler werewolves, like that they have packs, and the companions harbinger is always the alpha. then we would also have werebears, which would have been men and women who worshipped hircine by offering him bear pelts as a trubute, and therefore, he gave them the gift of being werebears, and thus he can bless the player too. for werecrocodiles, we would have the player drink the blood of aela the huntress, but they didn't change when they woke up, so aela and skjor were unsure of what happened. however, the next night, the player becomes a werecrocodile, and meets the silver hand leader, and master of the werecrocodile, and tasks the player, in their werecrocodile form, to help them defeat the companions, and will transform the werecrocodile when they need a task done. then we would have a bnch of new werewolf perks in the tree, as well as perks for all werecreatures. we could also have wereboars too, and regular boars as random wild encounters. also there would be the return of lord hircine, and like in bloodmoon, he can help make your beast form(crocodile, Bear, Wolf, Boar, all of those) stronger, like make it seem as though the werewolf/bear/boar/crocodiles fur/scales become as strong as armor, so that it wouldn't be so annoying that we seem unarmored when were in beast form. or he could increase the strength of certain perks, likee instead of doing 100% more damage in beast form, we would do 125% more damage, and we could feed on almost any living creature, and if we keep leveling up savage feeding, then we get 15% more time from humanoid corpses, and 15% more time from other corpses. so basically, it would be like a werecreature upgrade, to make it so that if a werewolf/bear/boar/crocodile went up against a vampire lord, it might actually have a chance of winning. plus, werebears sound really cool
I agree that Beth should add Werebears and maybe new Werewolf stuff (like sneak) but there's no need for werecorcs or any other werecreature. Werecrocs and boars dont make sense to the lore of Skyrim and why the heck would the Silver hand be working with werecrocodiles?? They hate all werecreatures.

This is where the phrase to each their own fits.

Kodlak was not senile, he didn't want the curse because he was a Nord. He had always dreamed of Sovrangarde. But as a wolf, he would be unable to go there and would be forever stuck in the hunting grounds. A place some would enjoy, but was not his cup of tea.

Possible Spoiler

Almost all the companions when given the chance, turn back into humans. So it seems most of them did see it as a curse of some form seeing how they wanted to return to a normal life.

Also, I believe that they should get DG out to PS3 users before making another DLC :swear:

Oh stop it. Seriously maybe do a twilight/xmen themed xpac that reflect those universes and fill it with easter eggs. It would be a really cool transition for the series as a whole. Not to mention all the cross promotional money that could be made by all those parties. Another good xpac would be anything zombies, everyone loves zombies.

What do you think the Werebear would be!!?? A huge bear roaming around and smashing people!! And you can't tell me they will be just like the werewolf because they won't!

Lawsuits are bad, k? There would be no nice transition, and it would shatter immersion like dynamite shatters human bones. If you want such a DLC, then mod it yourself.

Also, zombies are already basically in game in the form of Draugr, which are infinitely more bad ass than simple zombies, and resurrected NPCs, which are amazing meat shields, regardless of their power.
