new werecreature DLC after Dawngaurd and Hearthfire

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 12:30 am

if they do add werebears, what would they be like. i saw the gamejam video, and the part with the werebear had it charging into a group of gaurds and ragdolling them into the ground. i admit, thats was pretty cool(and funny) to watch, but the werebear seemed a bit slow to me. would we have faster werewolves and slower werebears.
Take a look at this http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1395915-werebears-and-spears-maybe-next-dlc-2/. It has alot of good pics of what that might look like.

I like the idea of the zombies being draugr, just use what we got :) good thinking. That should cover immersion. Now the xmen could be the playable races but with each their own special power which makes them unique. Whats your thoughts on that? Also i think the zombie xpac should take place in falkwreath.

Again, lawsuits are bad, so the whole X-Men deal would be a very bad idea for Bethesda.

Xmen would not fit in TES.

For doctor xavier maybe they could make him like mr house from new vegas. Or he could actually be mr house from new vegas as he was super old, of course the younger version of house. Thats a good character tie to both games. Its so simple.

Im saying they do it legal and cross promote with the movie studio that owns xmen. They could do an xmen origins where some new xmen came from nirn.

There is no tie between anything on Earth to Nirn. There is no tie between anything in the X-Men franchise to Nirn.

Those ties should be kept non-existent.

I don't think that will ever happen. If you're itching for it so badly, then go create a mod for it. Again, X-Men directly tying to Skyrim would shatter immersion like a steamroller crushes human bones, as well as be highly unlikely in any way/shape/form.

I'm not sick of vampires or werecreatures. They are one of the most interesting things in TES lore.
This.

Pretty easy to tie to lore. House is rich with lots of technology. He was looking for planets to habitate in the future, like a real estate idea. His spaceship crashes on nirn, during the crash he and a handful of nirns inhabitants at the crash site get exposed to some space stuff that speeds up their individual evolution giving them special powers. Fearing reprisals from those afraid of the power they posess(much like the xmen on earth) they band together in a secret society, lets call it the xfactor. House tries to use their power to influence the politics of nirn to meet his own financial gain. Eventually the other members of xfactor realize what he has been up to and banish him. House repairs the spaceship and returns to earth with some of his xfactor loyalists, only to find his home planet on the brink of all out world war. The remnants on nirn continue being a hidden faction trying to do good and eventually gain social acceptance. Centuries later with dwarven tech their anscestors journey to earth only to come to the realization that they are even less accepted there and the faction splits between dr xavier and magneto.

It seems you are unfamiliar with TES lore too.

'Nirn (believed to mean 'Arena' in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Ehlnofex_Languages) is the planet on which the Elder Scrolls is set. It floats in the void of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Planes_of_Oblivion and is, for all intents and purposes, the majority of the realm known as http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Mundus.'

The Elder Scrolls Universe essentially is a completely different dimension/universe/etc. It's essentially not even in space. There is no possible or plausible to connect the two different franchises.

Do you actually like Skyrim's story.. Its probably the worst story I have ever witnessed.. Except a Nicholas Cage movie.. Those are just horrible.. Even Oblivion's horrible story beat it, to me..

Dawnguard's story is a copy and paste of Vampies in general so that = no originality, so to me it would be a bad story..

Yeah maybe just oe or two guns house would have had with him, limited ammo though. Simple sci fi stuff can connect the two. House crashes through a blackhole and enters nirns atmosphere.

I agree, if bethesda is going to add a werecreature it should be lore appropriate like werebears. People asking for a were-creature that doesn't fit the lore or one that is not native to Skyrim is just ridiculous.

And that's your opinion, if you ask me all that was needed to make the main quest better was to make Alduin next to impossible to defeat. But I do agree that Nic Cage makes horrible movies.

Story writing has never been been bethesda's strong suit, no matter what it's about.
