New Year, New Moderator... Welcome Povuholo

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 3:29 am

Only 2 in the last 4 years? I don't think so.

Well, to rephrase, only 2 that I know of. :P You and princess stomper from Morrowind boards, didn't pay much attention to other sections than Morrowind's until recently. :P

Wha! When did you become a non-moderator cow?

We need a cow moderating these forums! I demand this oversight be fixed immediately!

We have two cat moderators. I say they battle to the death, and replace the loser with a cow.

I second this motion!

Just kidding :teehee:

something's telling me I'm missing someone.

Was there someone from the Quakcon moderators that became a full fledged moderator? One of those people, I believe

Nope, Alex and I were modded in February 2008 (I think DB was at the same time...somebody else was 'cause I remember there were 3 of us) and HeyYou came in about a year later.

Weird, I thought Alexander had already stepped down when I joined in 2007. I don't remember ever seeing him as a moderator, I only saw the new mod threads for people from Stomper onwards.

He actually didn't mod here for too long. He was still a mod at Beth's Star Trek: Legacy forum. That a some real life stuff made him a bit overworked, so he stepped down...maybe spring or summer of 2008.

He might have left the community alltogether, I'm not seeing him at the place they fled to after the closing.

You forgot BootySweat, but MitchEvious was one of those four (falchya, greenwarden, nu_clear_day) that Gstaff promoted last year or was it 2010.

Wasn't Blith_Erring_Idio a moderator just before you or do I miss something.

I remember him being a mod, but I don't recall the time frame. I was upset that tegger wasn't coming around then and stepped down a short time later. I was really looking forward to working with her. She was a funny, sharp-witted lady.
@Jagar: DB just decided "enough" like most of us that left.

At work, we have what are called "knowns", "known unknowns", and "unknown unknowns". Known unknowns are things we know we need to know but don't know. Unknown unknowns are things we don't know we need to know. Dogsbody knew the unknown unknowns.

I apologise for the amount of "kn" in this post.

They've both been busy with things off the forums, and haven't been able to visit often. If a mod isn't active for a while the admin may reset them to a member account, although if they return and they're active again they can ask to come back.

I wrote up a quick list of former moderators. I'm probably forgetting a few names.

They're just stand by so to speak, but you forgot all the moderators who simple resign in spring 2010 when new forum software replace the old one. I read an old thread were Gstaff told us about what has happen with the moderators.
