Couldn t care less, wherewolves and vampires are for twilight lovers....

Never watched it, never will either.

I was a Vampire and Werewolf lover long before Twilight.

It was fairly obvious they were going to be in. I don't understand why some people are suprised.

Bethesda said "we're not ready to talk about that yet" in regards to vampires, the dark brotherhood, and werewolves... and surprise surprise, all have been confirmed. If one wasn't going to be included in the game, I think it would've been a straight up "no".
No, it was because Matt Carofano officially stated that they weren't in, unless that Dutch website completely fabricated the interview...hardly surprising that people are surprised is it?

the reason beth kept saying no comment i think is coz they werent sure if they could finish animating the werewolves before the game was released

the game is still in the making so last min changes does not mean they lied
and for all you know the poster of that leak can be just as guilty at lying

besides not like there going to tell us every thing about the game
Actually, you are completely wrong. They feature locked the game many months ago.
Yes they did lie and for a good reason, they wanted it to be a SURPRISE but obviously some idiots like to make threads in the General Discussion and spoil it for everyone.

I didn't read that interview.

I remember seeing Matt Carofano in a video interview though... and when asked about werewolves, he replied "we're not ready to talk about that yet" with a smirk on his face.

Yes they did. In an interview Todd howard stated that werewolves were officially NOT in.
CONFIRMED! People stop being so full of nonsense, Bethesda has stated that Werewolves will not be in, they've even stated that they're not even sure if Werewloves will be featured in an expansion.

Todd 'confirmed' that there were no werewolves, because they want to keep it a surprise. There is irrefutable evidence that there are werewolves in the game and that you can become one, but we can't link the source due to forum rules.

I can't believe so many people take that European article as proof they aren't in. I said it when that first came out: Bethesda made it clear to be very suspicious of any new information from non-English magazines. It's questions in another language translated to English, then answered in English, and then that answer is translated back to the other language, and then again it's once again translated back into English and the rumors start to fly. I mean if there can be a miscommunication so bad that there was "confirmation" that Twitter/Facebook (or whatever it was) is integrated into the game this false information has nothing on that.

One question/speculation:

Are the werewolves going to be hollywood style werewolves? (thinking underworld lycans, van helsing, etc. Not twilight)

Or

Are the werewolves going to be more like shape-shifting people Even which in their human "Form" they still hold all of the wolf instincts and views and such and the human skin is literally just that a "Form" for them to fit in with society ("Bitten" - Kelly Armstrong. Its a book. Wolf's Rain a little bit).

Sorry but shape shifting people too me are better than hollywood style werewolves. They always have been for me, its just my opinion.

So im voting for the shape-shifting like werewolves.

If any of these..."special" people who keep going on and on and on and ON about how Bethesda and Todd and whoever the heck else they think said it, lied, can actually offer up a single iota of "proof" that they actually DID lie about "werewolves"I will eat my own socks.

Not a vague "not ready to talk about that yet" or "we don't want to confirm or deny that" or "well, not at this point in time..." actual, definitive, solid, quoted material from a Bethesda official saying "werewolves will NOT be the game upon release."

Nobody lied. You just got svckered in by the telephone game. People repeating the same drivel and rumors over and over again until it turned into all the big names at Bethesda saying that werewolves were NOT in the game.

A single foreign website going through fifteen different translations doesn't count. I can't believe what they said made it so far that people are STILL convinced there are no werewolves in the game.

Werewolves are in. stop arguing about it.

Off topic: here's my idea for an easter egg: Nord girl named Bella. She meets a Wood Elf named Jakob who turns into a werewolf, and rips her face off.
