Now that we have dragons diving into lakes...

Think facts. It is a fact that we have only one source on Volkihar's ice-related abilities.

Again, taking the lore too literally. There's a whole world out there, not just one book.

They didn't actually smash the ice though. The reached through it without breaking it. That would be harder to implement I think. They could just make them smash the ice and say the reaching through it without cracking it was an exaggeration. Would be pretty cool.

Ya you are right.. somehow people keep saying they smashed through ice.

Then we have Skyrim, which could also be considered a source.

I think the dragon was helping dragon born find the vampire lords castle under the ice.

Or was diving for an Elder Scroll or some quest item.... idk.

Enemies that can grab you through ice/floors/walls would certainly make things more exciting. That reminds me of certain moments while playing Resident Evil.

Not entirely, considering that we have no example at all of the Volkihar's abilities. Unless, of course, they do not have any said abilities, and Movarth Piquine was a liar.

ARGH, dude? Are you seriously that dense? The world you see in-game is a limited version of the wider, broader, much larger world today's video game technology is not able to present to you.
There is not just one book. There are many. There is not just one source. There's a whole world. Farms are not the size of your backyard vegetable garden. Etc. etc. etc.

I think you're missing the point I'm making; please don't insult my intelligence.
I understand that what we see in game, lore wise, is watered down. But as far as hard proof goes it's all we have.

I think you're missing the point entirely. This thread is about Volkihar vampires, not a debate on game size. If you want that, there are plenty of threads already on the subject.

Snake is not dense for saying there is no example of the Volkihars abilities. Hell, I didn't even know there was such thing as a Volkihar vampire until this thread was posted.

If we won't get it, then Bethesda is taking a piss on the lore.

I'm hoping that just meant dragons will be more dangerous and intelligent and capable of more creative combat tactics.
