Not according to well respected reviewer sites, I.e. Euro gamer's lens of truth.

Look at those videos on tube and you see it yourself

Personally, I think these claims are baseless and have been repeatedly proven false. Furthermore, I have brought this important point up at least three times before, but I'll do it again here:

The Xbox 360 version has suffered (since Day 1) with problems related to textures not properly/fully loading...leading the game to look like a blurry, soupy mess. At least one of the subsequent patches was supposed to fix this, but lots of players are still experiencing it (as can be seen on the 360 forums here). This has NEVER been an issue on the PS3 (despite its well-documented framerate issues). So to say that the 360 version of Skyrim is 'graphically superior' in any way, shape or form, is ridiculous. I was watching a Skyrim Let's Play on YouTube during release week and WITNESSED this problem that the commentator was experiencing on his 360 with my own two eyes. At points, it looked like he was playing Oblivion, no joke.

And as for Eurogamer, frankly their comparo is in the minority. I've seen a handful of great, HD three-way comparo videos (including the PC) which prove that there is virtually NO difference between the visual fidelity of the console versions...when the 360 version's textures are properly loading.

These people are masochist, saying: "Oh no I hate myself and I hate bethesda, why they did a ps3 version of skyrim so ugly" when it is not true, you just judge being based on the eurogamer video, and the other doesn't exist, it only exist that video and the idea the ps3 graphics are horrible.

If you see or play the 360 version you'll see a rather large difference between the games. The 360 version is better overall. Frame rate, textures, AA.....its all better on the 360. Oh, and no game stopping lag on the 360 either.

Even if that is true, I don't really care. I play it on a PS3 and the gaphics are perfectly fine IMO. Not "ugly" at all. I'm not gonna go out and get an Xbox just because Skyrim might display better graphics on it. And I haven't had the same bugginess that others have on the PS3, so the Xbox having less tech issues is also irrelevant to me.

Here, judge it yourself:

To me, Xbox seems to have more blurry picture in overall. PS3 pic is a slightly sharper. Also shadows look better on PS3 not to mention water on 1:25

Xbox has darker picture so in some points it creates the illusion the textures would be better hence the blackier shapelines. But actually they're not. I think the overall softness in Xbox version would seem even worse if they had more brightness in the picture as Ps3 version has. Eg look at Xbox picture on 1:30 and compare it a couple seconds before to PS3 pic. Here you can see a clear difference and Xbox looks pretty soft and bad.

Summa summarum: even though there are differences, they are really minor between the box and ps3.

EDIT: and to think more about this, when they allowed the screen tearing in xbox and if it's graphics are sligthly lower quality, no wonder it runs smoother not to mention the extra ram.

I don't get it. In that video they all look about the same. Still in the first image you can see how in the X360 the grass and trees are more detailed (and they move as well). Now check this:

http://www.eurogamer.net/videos/skyrim-xbox-360-vs-ps3-face-off-video

The difference is abysmal. What i can't stand is that ugly feeling of having lost eyesight because of the blurring.

Yeah that first part in the video I linked xbox picture seems a bit better. But in other parts PS3 is slightly sharper and better.

That Eurogamer PS3 video definetely has something wrong with it's picture. I run my skyrim with component cable to samsung HD tv and the picture looks much more sharper and detailed.
PS3 version on their video looks like crap run through the SCART. I don't trust that video a bit.

lol you guys are awesome.

My post was intended to bethesda, not you. If you REALLY find that PS3 version is more beautiful only by watching video on the web even when people that have all the versions tell you it's not: well guess what, good for you!Go enjoy your game please since you are able to!

Now if you'll excuse me this topic is not about arguing which version is the worst, but only about FXAA. Thanks

Which issue is this? I've never seen anyone mention a problem with the sound.

Far as I know the sound problems were only recently identified and caused by the 1.4 patch that PC guys are testing.

We are not speaking about the same issue. The issue mentionned here has already been explained by me, and is present since launch day.
