There is no Skynet, it's all been a lie. It's OrigiNet

It's likely a virus of some sort, because I didn't have it ask me at all, I had to download it from their website.

And Origin isn't actually that bad.

Except y'know... now EA has the right to collect data on what you have on your hard drive

And they tried to hide it by removing it from the Origin EULA, only to have it overwritten by the EA Privacy Policy which gives them the same permission.

OrigiNet is actually a bookmark of mine and I can assure you it has nothing to do with this topic. ;)

Was trying to wordmisth a cool cross between Origin and Skynet. I kind of figured it didn't exist, and if it did wasn't what I thought it was. :teehee:

Sounds like Origin is bundled with EA games (from Steam and maybe other places), maybe as a marketing ploy to draw more people to Origin.
i doubt EA could do that without breaking some sort of terms of service with steam

That just might do the trick  Though isn't having ice after flame counter-productive?

Sure, but with this gun your sure to have all the time n the world to be counter productive. The guns also modular, so take out what you dont need. Have fun now.

Do they sell a blender attachment? You'd be surprised how often one of those comes in handy.

I'm putting my order for it on Amazon right now! If Origins ever shows it's face near me I will be ready. I want to get the old repulbic though just to play it once... but why couldn't they use steam? That is enough surely because gamers don't want to have to install a different piece of soul eating kit for every game they play *sadface*

Sure, unless Steam has gone ape-[censored] crazy and agreed to some sort of Satan's deal-scenario with EA...

Yeah, it's got to be malware or a virus.

Is it possible that this is an infection disguised as Origin?
What sort of malware pretends to be other malware?

I happen to agree that Steam doesn't go as far as Origin although both are dirty in my eyes especially Origin which installs itself regardless if you sign the EULA or not, in addition to other things that it does too. It's a shame that PC gaming has to go to this, don't know why they can't trust honest people with a disk.

I agree, Pee Holes are never honest especially if they wish to spew all that piss from their bladder onto my grave.
