So you feel you wasted all that time AND you are ready to say that you did not have fun because of these small remaining issues? Are you kidding?

How do you get through life, my friend?

yes i enjoyed it right up until i found out that THIS PATCH STILL WONT GIVE ME THE ONE ACHIEVEMENT I DONT HAVE. im a meticulous guy when it comes to my gaming and this is really satrting to annoy me i understand that all games like this are bound to be glitchy but theres no excuse for the ammount of problems in skyrim was it even beta tested at all??
Wait. Let me get this straight. You made this whole rage thread because you're missing one achievement out of 50 or so in a game that you enjoyed "wasting time" in?
I don't understand what the big deal is. You had fun. You're missing one achievement that doesn't even really matter. I'm sorry, but stop crying and go kill some bandits.

Enlighten us all.

(Off-Topic) Someone cured his cancer by eating Apple Seeds then went to jail when he tried to tell the medical people about this. Apparently, there is something in Apple Seeds that can kill you if you eat too much but at the same time, can cure cancer. It seems to attack your cells but it attacks Cancer-Cells first. Sorry for this being off-topic.

The real waste of your time is that you're spending that much time playing a videogame instead of working a decent job to make money or obtaining yourself more education to better yourself as an individual both personally and professionally.

You should take a moment to realize how nice it must be to be able to "waste" over 400 hours on a game.

Waiting for a final patch to solve all your problem is wasted time - there are no more oblivion patches and if it wasn't for the community fixes the game would still be uncompletable in places. sometimes fixing one small problem is too much as it will probably break something else.

That is so true. I had a huge mod for Morrowind once and when I fixed one bug, another was created..

Because the apple seeds could kill people, if they ate too much, and I guess it violate some sort of medical-law or something very stupid like that. OR, the people who makes all those pills for cancer doesn't want him to get others to know the cure because that means they will lose $. (Off-Topic)

bethesda really need to do something about making the patch work with exisiting game saves i understand the difficulty with this problem but i have amassed an amazing amount of hours that i am unwilling to just throw away. tbf we should have been informed of the problems with this game from the begining so i didnt waste 429 hours of my life playing it to have to start again

Patches alter components and routines of programs, that's just the nature of the beast. Depending on what they alter, it can impact on existing save games. This isn't a Beth or Skyrim specific issue, it happens with every game, and pretty much with every patch, to a greater or lesser extent.

I do in-house beta testing for a strategy game company, and during a project we would see patches coming down the line every few days. In most cases, those patches do have impacts on the programs we are working on, although we are using the developers own models...and in some cases it has necessitated the beta team in restarting or re-installing the patched game...and when a company is working to tight deadlines, they seriously try to avoid that sort of problem.

In all honesty, Beth will have done everything it could to ensure the stability of the patch and game, and would have tried to ensure that the impact of the patch is only limited to what was intended to be fixed, but issues do happen which can't be avoided.

Calling one another ignorant, or one another's posts ignorant or judging someone with little to no knowledge of that person...is flaming and thus warn worthy.

Closed for complete lack of respectful discussion and flaming/flamebaiting.
