People with frame rate (lag) problems post your configuratio

PS3: 3 year old 40gb upgraded to 320gb (121gb free)
Played: latest save says 12hrs 42mins
Size: 4.3mb
Autosave: off

No stutters or bad fps drops currently.

Note: I wish you'd all stop calling it 'lag' its not, its low frame rate or low fps, lag is linked to latency
and can ONLY be used when playing a game online.

Well said :)

From these messages it does seem obvious, that jerky play and slowdowns are more common with the smaller harddrives.
caused by caching lots of data on a heavily fragmented drive. (does the ps3 have any hd defrag tools?)
Lets face it 5Gb of install is 25% of the 20Gb PS3's.
Maybe a question should be how many times have you filled up your hard drive and had to uninstall stuff.

"trying to squeeze my foot into an old shoe thats now one size to small.... I ALWAYS used to fit in them can't be my foot... Ah its in now, but its not very comfortable... stupid shoes... stupid shoe shops selling shoes that don't expand after years..."

but hey... its easier to blame the game, and shout and whinge on a forum about it. ;)
