Quite simple really... Someone wasted time and coding incorporating this 'reset' ability into the DLC when that time and coding could have been used on something better...

Oh yes...let's go back to that...Because it would have taken so much time away from something people wanted, like their precious Arena, or Wear-Bears. Such wasted resources. Like the face changer in Dawnguard-- they could have added DAEDRIC CROSSBOWS if they hadn't wasted the precious time and resources on that one NPC...
Good god...

THEY COULD HAVE ADDED ALL OF MORROWIND, BUT THEY ADDED A RESET! OH THE HUGE MANATEE!

If there was a hard lvl cap, I'd probably go against perk respec. But as it stands, you can get to lvl 100 in every skill anyway. There is no choice to be destroyed really. One would still have to lvl up said skill so they could unlock the perk slots anyway, it's not like fans are asking for skill respec. Just perks.

At first I was against the entire idea of resetting your perks, but I'm starting to not care as time goes on. If it's implemented, I'll avoid it is all.

Honestly, they could replace 'perk reset' with new types of 'grass' and that would have been more productive than wasting time with a perk reset... Do people not realize just how many perks one can have??? I mean, why reset?

But who says that's what you have to do, and why do you care if other people do it in a single player game? Hm? Answer that. Why is the option of it so OFFENSIVE, and the mere thought of someone else not involved in your experience doing it so agonizing for you?

Because it goes against the values, lore, and entire backbone of the both Skyrim and the series as a whole. Pure and simple, it is not neccessary, it is negatively unorthodox, and it reeks of laziness. I have a question for you: why must people be so hell-bent on contorting the game to fit their indidual perfectionism or greediness?

If you want to play a great game weakly, playing a weak game would be great for you.

It's not agonizing nor do i care what other people do in their playthroughs,it just cheapens the experience a bit,and my anger was directed toward the original poster, who seemed to be mad that some people like me don't want the reset.

...Because Grass is decor and Perks are functional, duh.
I honestly don't care, but I am actually offended to the BONE HEADED chest thumping I hear out of some people regarding it! People don't even offer concise or well thought out reasons why, it's all just bias and stupid Gamer EGO!

Call me whatever you want, perk resetting is a steaming pile of hot garbage. There should be more consequences in the game not less. I won't use it so it don't matter if they add it or not. I think your title describes the perk resetters perfectly, not the other way around.

Because it goes against the values, lore

...Did you honestly just try and account perk resetting to Lore...?

Perk resetting is fine if you don't care if Elder Scrolls gets even more shallow than before. If you used foresight you wouldn't need to reset your perks. Use your brain that's what it's there for.

This may have possibly been the smartest and most thought-out response I have read all day. People seem to get more reliant and lazy by the minute, it is refreshing to see someone that has not hit that wall.

This is not going well is it? Still, it started off badly and as we don't allow topics complaining about complainers this is being closed.
