Perk reset compainers = Seriously insecure people with no se

Post » Thu Nov 29, 2012 7:54 pm

If you cant control yourself - that is YOU BEING WEAK - nothing else. Bethesda holds no blame for you being an insecure weakling with no selfcontrol.

"What if it is forced?" Then relocate the perks where they were before. It takes ZERO EFFORT to circumvent it being forced on you.
"But its so tempting, I dont want to be tempted!" Again, if you are so mentally fragile this is an issue. I seriously fear for your real life future.
"Its not lore friendly!" HM is the keeper of knowledge, the Lord of the unknown and fate itself in a high fantasy game. It is as lorefriendly as you can possibly have it.
"It ruins

Just had to get that out! I may be blunt, but pointless complaints deserve the truth harsh as it may be.

Complaining about complainers is even more pointless. Obviously you can't comprehend why long time fans of this game don't want it, and frankly I don't feel like explaining why I don't want it.

But don't you see?
If they allow perk resetting, then lesser gamers, not the complainers, never the complainers, will be overpowering themselves by smithing master armor and weapons and then respeccing to something else! It's madness!
I mean, sure this is a single player game in which one players experience has zero impact on the experiences of others, but it is outright madness!

*Sarcasm disabled*

...Actually, I agree with OP...But you can't reason with some people, especially Gamers.

It would be a welcome option to be able to play on my main character again as I screwed up his skills and perk allocation. Although I'm not going to complain if it's not in.

I feel like this thread was made to piss people off. I personally don't care either way. I won't use it but it won't bother me if its in the game.

They're never going to add perk reset anyway (thankfully), so this is pointless.

Isn't complaining about complainers and threads made to rip on/piss people off against the rules? I understand newbies doing it, but this? :/

So, I assume you'll be complaining if you find out that there won't be a reset ability then? And what would you rather have- perk reset or added perks?

It appears you are the one who is mentally unstable in both the real and fantasy worlds, my friend.

Sorry, but if you
a) believe you have made a mistake when previously selecting a perk,
b) want to play in a different style, or
c) are too lazy to create a new character to fulfill your desire to try something new, than you have no business playing a game such as Skyrim. If you don't like the choices that YOU made, well, life is too damn rough for you.

It shouldn't be in the game, after all, can't YOU control yourself and choose the perks you actually want?

Consequences are necessary sometimes even in games,if you didn't choose the perks you like, tough luck.

Enter obligatory chest-beating 'stop svcking so much and you won't svck'...

Consequences should be relegated to quests, where they actually matter, not the statistics.

I dont really feel a feature like this belongs in a TES game, but given the regularity in which requests for it popped up, other people disagree.
So if it is added Ill be happy for these people.
I wont have to use it, so why should I care?
I still dont think it really belongs, but if people want it, Im glad for them they got it.

Whats so complainy about that?
Seriously, this tendency to polarise any two sided of any debate really grinds my gears as pretty soon it wont be about the issue anymore.

People should reallly quit arbitrarily dividing an issue into two 'sides' and then polarising these 'sides', often using the word 'whining.'
Its very immature and not a little annoying.

Still, perk reset destroys the need to choose your perks wisely. It's not necessary and adds nothing to the game, just takes away what i said before.

Takes away what, exactly? Is Perk Allocation THAT game breaking for people like you? Out of everything, this is what grinds you gears? The repercussions of choosing who lives and who dies are one thing, but what PERKS you choose... *slams fist* This is serious business.

Yes,it's quite game breaking in fact, you said it yourself. One could master all smithing skills, craft everything, then trade all the smithing perks for something else.
I don't really like that.
And i really like your avatar.

But who says that's what you have to do, and why do you care if other people do it in a single player game? Hm? Answer that. Why is the option of it so OFFENSIVE, and the mere thought of someone else not involved in your experience doing it so agonizing for you?

Quite simple really... Someone wasted time and coding incorporating this 'reset' ability into the DLC when that time and coding could have been used on something better...
