NO pilotable vehicles in multiplayer!

You know, they even said that MP was going to be a different game, so I can assume that SP will have vehicles.

I'm not fussed about vehicles, nor about other sorts of transportation.

Crysis 1 was in jungle but MP maps were in desert like Mesa so maybe some maps wont have skyscraqers, dont start making stuff up, wait till they confirm it and if there will be dedicated servers then we can make maps, cars, helis and other stuff hopefuly

The map they showed in the mp video looked fairly small and aircraft would just be kind of pointless. There may be bigger maps but I personally prefer small faced paced maps so I'm not bothered.

I'm ok with vehicles in MP, but hopefully they are balanced and only on some maps.

Agreed,
I just don’t understand why they limit the game to create a type of game-play that was possible in Crysis Wars with server side settings/mods.

How? Even without vehicles, it will still be the same. It's like you rely on it, like a dependant thing.

Vehicles is what makes Crysis, Crysis. Kind of like how vehicle warfare defines the Battlefield franchise.

It will ruin the game because Crytek isnt planning on adding ANY vehicles or aircraft to the Multiplayer...

Know what we've seen? Instant action and a new CTF + IA mix mode, do you remember any cars or VTOLS in crysis 1/warheads IA maps? No, because they were too small.

Well IMO Crysis Wars 2 (or whatever it will be called) "MUST" have everything Crysis Wars has and more, or this game for me is a bust. Crytek should be taking a step or two forward not 3 steps back.

The Nanosuit's abilities are severely hampered when driving anything, it removes all of the tools that the suit gives you and confines you to using other weapon systems and movement styles.

The Nanosuit gives you everything you need to defeat your enemies.

I also find it bizarre that 'the community' already thinks that the MP is messed up due to the number of people that can play in a single session. We have play tested MP for a long time and feel that 6 vs. 6 is the best possible solution for the Nanosuit's abilities on these maps. This isn't to rule out any future possibilities of extending the server cap, but at this stage we are happy with 6 vs. 6 for the time being.

Once you play it, you should understand.

Then please, PLEASE release the MP version you guys had at Gamescon for 'the community' to try it out, to draw out our conclusons, to maybe ease our minds in the other aspects of the game.

If you do not want a mass release at least choose 12 random people from the europe region, 12 more from US and another 12 from Aus.

Let them test it out and (maybe) ease our minds.

Not a good news for me.
I love to play MP with big maps and swarm of players, and I can play with strategy but not only skill in these big map. But no vehicle means no big maps... Also, hurting with vehicles or hurting vehicles are fun, and make me feel "it is war", but not gunfignt only.
If the Crysis 2 is really going like this, I think most of the players of Crysis wars will like to stay in wars, and MW players still play their MW, so Crytek lose everything.
I hope Crytek reconsider it carefully.
Finally, sorry for my poor English.
