Please, dont forget PVE

From what I've read, they have some really great ideas for PVE. I think the reason they are focusing on the big PVP war is this: You can never make enough PVE content to keep todays MMO players constantly happy. They will burn through it too fast. An end game focused on PVP like DAOC had, kept people at the level cap quit entertained while the devs were working on new content.

Don't get confused and think this will be some tacked on capture the flag instances like RIFT and WOW and SWTOR have - the PVP that ZOS has designed sounds very much like DAOC's frontiers and it will be meaningful and fun for all sorts of groups and all sorts of players. Be excited, be very very excited. I think we are in for something very cool.

Approximately 120 hours of leveling to cap, probably mostly PvE with unique content for each race/province and heroic instances/raids at max-level and then the Cyrodiil three faction persistent location capture and defense PvP battleground and the race for the throne and the Imperial City. That sounds like a lot of work in both PvE and PvP.

Unless they add pure PVP servers, you will most likely be safe from PVP everywhere except for the PVP, central zone.

This is what guilds are for. The real reason behind that is that all those nasty, anti-social kiddy-type players join guilds, but end up getting kicked out because well... they're [censored]s. But I encounter the same problem when it comes to random PvE groups. Theres always one guy that thinks he knows best and think everyone else is a noob.

Finding a proper guild, a mature group of gamers that share your values and put restrictions on who can join them, will enlighten ALL aspects of gaming for you. Once you're in, you'll wonder how you ever got by without them. The right guilds, will become a second family to you that'll follow you into the hellish depths of any game.w
All I said is that I agree with the OP, don't foget about PvE, heh.

Oh so there's gonna be PvP.

Welp, that's all I needed to know! Not interested in this! Tata everyone!
An MMO without PvP sounds extremely boring IMO :D

A MMO without PvP theese days is just... impossible.
But Bethesda should remember that The Elder Scrolls was, first of all, a PvE oriented offline game series.
I understand that, to turn TES into a MMO, some or many things have to change, but the spirit of TES should remain. Shouldn't it? ^^
