On Netflix, I mostly watch Star Trek, Mad Men, Hawaii Five-O, or when they come up (most of the time, they aren't even on streaming) the James Bond movies. Outside of this, what I watch is mainly older movies and TV shows. Sometimes westerns and action films as well, particularly. I would watch their uploads of Bleach, but it's in the original Japanese language, with no English option.

They have a bunch of good series, but as far as I know HBO has never put any of their series up for instant streaming. Based on the price of buying them, I'm sure they don't want to cut into that revenue.
I've been waiting for a while (hoping) to see boardwalk empire or game of thrones come to Netflix but I doubt it. I've never seen anything on there from HBO like Sopranos, Deadwood, Rome, and BOB or The Pacific.

They don't (and probably won't) have it on streaming, but GoT is available from Tuesday on blu-ray.

How's the Anime selection?
They got a few alright anime things, it introduced me to xxxholic which I liked. they had full metal alchemist as well and inyuasha.
Most of the Robotech episodes are there 80+ although 1 or 2 episodes are missing or don't work.

They use to have the first 2 seasons of Dexter, not too sure I cancled the streaming option when the price went up watched everything non-tv show related worth watching in my opinion by then. Didn't like much of the tv content most of the stuff I was interested in had to be got by dvd in the mail and I wasn't going to waste my disc selection of tv stuff.

Yeah Battlestar Galatica got mentioned I never seen it till it popped up as a suggestion on streaming I got svcked in and couldn't stop watching it in my free time after I started.

It's decent, but not really any better than Hulu or Crunchyroll. Also, they never have subs. :glare:

Wrong. I watched a few that had subs. Inuyasha, death note, and Nana are all japanese with english subs. Prob more too.

Don't hold your breath. HBO has never (to my knowledge) put one of their series on Netflix. Hell, "The Sopranos" complete DVD collection still costs $170 on Amazon. As long as they sell their series for those prices, they'll never put them on Netflix.

Yeah, I guess what I don't like is that they don't give you an option. I don't like dubs. Some people don't like subs. Seems like it wouldn't be that hard to cater to both groups.

Netflix has them....just not on instant streaming. They're DVD mail rentals only.
There's a lot of companies still on the fence about instant streaming access, for various reasons (pirating isn't the only reason). Heck, it's only been recently that a lot of FOX shows are consistently available on my paid-for cable subscription Comcast On-Demand listings. And even tho they're there, they have to turn off the fast-foward function for those shows so you can't zip thru the ads.

What happened to Spartacus? It was up there a few days ago, but now it's gone.

LadyCrimson, you said you watched 24 up to Season 7. Did you see Redemption, which took place between 6 and 7?

I've been watching alot of Farscape on Netflix recently. I was really starting to get into it back around 99-2000 when I had my cable shut off due to financial instability, now I've started getting back into it and realize how much I enjoyed it back then. Wonder what else I'll stumble across that I've not seen in years.

Um....I really can't remember but I don't think so. I vaguely remember the ads but think it didn't interest me at the time, so I probably skipped it or forgot about it entirely.
