They pick about 20 people from the forums who know the rules and are generally helpful on the forums and then they put them in an Arena and make the battle to the death. Only one survives and that person is dragged off to a large cave underground where he / she is chained to a desk and a computer.

Stolen from their houses at anytime, the most recent Pov was taken on his birthday. You are then a subject in a dark room with only a computer and the forum rules. You lose your mind and become a drone controlled by GStaff.

You have to PM Gstaff, and it doesn't happen often.

I truely regret the 12 at the end of my name for example, but it probably isn't worth bothering the forum gods about, whereas if it was penfifteen then it would get changed rather quickly.

You can't.
However you can PM GStass or another Admin and they may change a small letter or fix the CaPiTaLS for you as you request.
They don't change the name usually because it's what people here identify you as and it would likely cause some confusion for those who regular contact you.
Like me becoming GrannyFern, that would be confusing...and strange

That would be because you posted this thread in the wrong forum (You posted it in the Skyrim forum) and it got moved to the Community Discussion, which is the forum we use to discuss things unrelated to Bethesda games.
