No, you're right. I was really just kidding about Maryland. You're right, there is some important stuff there, just not that many people or much industry. Just saying that Chicago has nearly 3 million souls in the city limits alone, and the Chicago suburbs are HUGE.

The Midwest is also home to more than a few major storage depots and training facilities for the armed forces. Not to mention quite a few missile silos in the upper Midwest. Ignoring that, it also contains the farmbelt, which is the majority of the Great Plains, where much of the grain for the country is produced. In a nuclear war, making these areas inhospitable would cripple a country even without murdering the majority of its citizens.

I know its apart of the United States, I'm saying that after living half my life in Hawaii I can't stand the jackasses in the area of Virginia I live in. Also I miss all the exotic, beautiful girls in Hawaii. :tops:
