Levitation is really the only thing removed from TES that could be Justified ( Towns are separate cells etc.)

No, not really. There was nothing to keep them from allowing levitation inside dungeons or caves. They could easily have come up with some lore to justify it not being useable outside, such as the harsh environment of Skyrim of something else.

However, instead of slightly altering something that's in the lore and allows for some fun in-game, they just removed it (like many other things, unfortunately) and added children. Ugh.

So instead of just fixing entering towns by going over walls, which should be a trivial fix (Heck, MMOs have been handling nearly seamless zone control like this for a Looooong time...DAOC and WoW for example, doesn't even have loading screens except for dungeons (and in WoW, moving between continents/dimensions), just a momentary flicker as you approach visual range of the zone boundary (Loads both zones at the same time so you can just walk across at any point) they just removed any abilities that would allow you to do so?

-10 reality
+10 Laziness

Look at all they removed for the sake of making the game "streamlined" and more appealing to action-adventure fans (streamlining an RPG makes it less of an RPG, though I guess RPGs don't sell very well and games like Uncharted are cash cows).

My comment on horses:

To be fair, my horse has teleported before, leaving me behind.

There has never been any kind of disguise skill in an Elder Scrolls game... or wall walking for that matter. There used to be levitation, but that's been gone for a while.

there has been aimbing skill, in daggerfall, and daggerfal had a lot more skills, language skills, skills that definehow you talk, much me than this 6-6-6 obsession

Thanks for the spoiler in the title.

Are you serious? Are you not even possessed of the wit to realise you'll end up killing Alduin despite the fact that the trailer specifaclly states you're the only one the dragons fear?

Granted at the fact that I have a poor sense of direction with the 3D map. I end up getting stuck on mountains trying to find where this cave is. Is the cave on top of this steep hill or below it. And it gets frustrating because it isn't like roads are that obvious when you get all turned around and confused. Skyrim is a big rocky mountainous place. And I should best be damn able to walk up a hill without needing a horse.

Play minecraft. You could just level the rock then. But OT, that's why part of my roleplay is a mountain climber, so I have an excuse not to use roads.

lol I am the same way with all my characters. My Pro-Empire Nord spent alot of his youth scaling rock faces in the hills just outside of Bruma. So naturally he is quite good at it and prefers climbing when possible. I imagine him digging in the tips of the ebony boots and using the back point of his war-axe to climb seemingly sheer faces. My other characters tend to be ranged, light armor survivalist types who you would figure to climb mountains and camp there.....oh man imadork
