Copy and paste from another post of mine.
Skyrim is an RPG, obviously, but an essential part of an RPG is decision-making, and in that sense the game lacks some vital options for the player to be able to make more decisions after some conversations. I hope they add that in the expansion of the game or the next TES.
Fallout 3 New Vegas is a great example of a game which is great in that regard. The quests change because of your decisions, you have a great influence in what happens, not just a yes or no.
There are some moments where you have that in Skyrim, but they are few and far between. I know many many people who are criticizing that part of the game.
- In short, more RPG like decision-making.
- More classes balancing. Mages are fine this time around, but some other classes are overpowered. Either that or increase the game's difficulty level for some classes.
- Add weapons like Scythes....
- More pet like companions such as a bat or a falcon
- Bartering/Commerce: More realistic options, simulating when you "present the fight", for the best price. Like just agreeing or something like saying to the store keeper: "A bit expensive, but I like the product". "The price is fair"- "I find it expensive, please lower your price some coins" "I am not going to buy something that expensive" "It seems so good to the point I find it cheap, thanks, great offer" "I can't buy that" "I could exchange that product of yours with some stuff I have" -being able to actually barter-, etc etc, more RPG-like
