Depending on your timezone you will for PC at least it unlocks at 11th est which is 10th everywhere else in the US.

belgium gets it the 10th, cause 11.11.11 is veteransday and everything s closed.. so for once, we are lucky

GAME sent me an email today saying it has been dispatched so it may come on Thursday. I can only hope.

Good thing the website I ordered from always does it a day before or on release!

While I admire the vigor with which you post on the subject, you'll find that most often those messages are generated when barcodes are scanned as items leave a warehouse. Now, while I'm not entirely sure where (or which century) you live, but not many high priorty goods are shipped by sea anymore, especially within the same country... no dock shall they visit, they will infact be delivered to a sorting office, in my country they work through the night, and typically First Class Mail is delivered the following morning.

The fact of the matter is, those of us who've pre-ordered from Game on a regular basis are more than used to receiving items the day after they dispatch, so a little excitement is not un-realistic.

Amazon sometimes send it earlier so it's a very distinct possibility that I will get it Thursday

The shop from which i pre-ordered my copy of Skyrim, states the following:

Elder Scrolls 5 - Skyrim Special Edition
Expected 10-11-2011

it's the pc version so it's doesn't really give me a longer playtime.
But is was possible to buy a console version from this store.

So I think its highly possible!!

It should do, mines overnight shipping on Amazon as well, they normally dispatch it thursday night.
and the estimated delivery for me says 11th of november, so you should get it friday.

I got MW3 on saturday, and my SKYRIM is already sent.. So I get it tomorrow

In the benelux (Belgium and Netherlands) something weird is going on. I read on gamefaqs (yes I know ) that some were able to buy Skyrim today at probably the largest gaming store chain in both countries.
With that in mind I set of and went to the local store of said chain.
To my Surprise I was indeed able to buy it... and went home happy, however here is the odd part: apparently they broke the street-date with consent of the publisher.
So either... the game selling industry (because nearly all large game orientated stores are selling early) is willingly breaking street-date or someone at Beth in Europe has given an OK which they shouldn't have.
If the chain in question is to blame, than I don't get it. Nearly 80% of their customers were still buying MW3 and no one, except those following the internet, is aware that it is available.
Maybe double revenue???
If Beth made a mistake, I also don't get it. There is a stench of piracy among those who have the game early, they do their best to keep stuff "secret" and are very strict (rightfully so) on leaked footage..
So.. what's going on? Did we see a massive ignoring street-date by a large gaming chain, or did someone at Beth Europe fall asleep..
On a side note when I loaded up (360) I did get an update available screen so the day one patch also seems to be live as well. ( size 3mb)
