What Unique Thing has Made You Smile?

I was fighting a bandit just outside Whiterun and his partner came up from behind me and attacked me. I took out the 1st one pretty easily with my bow and arrows, he was a whimp, but his friend who attacked me from the back was a tough one. When I turned around to face him he hit me with his sword, I took out my sword and right when I was about to attack him he slugged me with his shield, I was off-balnce and my camera was shaking everywhere. He got cocky and did a chest bump. That gave me an opening and I hit him with my shield which made him stagger, I then plunged my Ancoent Nordic sword into his shoulder and he was done for. Just the pace of it all really got to me haha :)

Wandering around after I got out of the cave in the beginning, it was night and I ran into some hot springs with geysers. I stumble upon what looks like a dead body lying in the water, but upon closer inspection I realize it is a native in underwear sprawled out in the hot springs on the freezing cold night, and a little farther away a couple more Nords were sitting in the hot springs. So I couldn't resist and joined them:

Well, probably the music, it was epic whether your fighting dragons or bandits or simply walking around aimlessly it is a masterpiece. Even though I loved Oblivion, the music was kind of dull, so for Skyrim most definitely the music. ^_^

Reading the Lusty Argonian Maid was funny anyone that finds them really needs to read them.

I was putting dwemer bowls and things on my table at home and my wife grabs one and gives it to me saying "i thought i would give this to you before anyone else took it".

I was walking through the hot springs area in eastern Skyrim and I found this old, dilapidated ruin that had been worn down by years of steam and water erosion. As I approach I see a skeletal corpse just sitting on a pile of bricks looking very relaxed and I naturally think of looting it. As walked up to him, he and his nearby buddies got up from their otherwise innocent looking positions and turned to attack me. I had no idea it was alive, I just figured it was there to look nice. Only in an Elder Scrolls game do you find such unimportant but still crafty details such as this.

First official Legion quest where we were going to get that crown thing.

The Stormcloaks were already in the dungeon, and we had to jump on the guards outside before they knew what was coming.

We were charging in. The Legate, Harvar and I were in heavy legion armor at the front, and six or so light soldiers were behind us. I sprinted ahead of the Legate when the Stormcloaks noticed out presence, and laid waste to them. I killed about six or seven (nearly all of them) with flash and courage. It was absolutely awesome. I started out with the Fus shout, knocking them all back, and cut the first two down right away with quick finishing attacks, then killed the next few, and did a spinning decapitation finishing attack on the last.

While looting, I noticed I killed every soldier but one, who was above me with a bow, who was killed by our archers.

Right then, I felt like a [censored] BOSS.

What unique event or discovery has made you smile?
My poor companion got caught between a giant and a dragon who aggroed her and each other. She kept getting up, then getting smashed, then getting up, then breathed on, while I sort of watched.

Easiest dragon kill, ever, too. =)

That's awesome. How do you do it? Just offer to buy someone a drink and start a competition?

By far my favorite experience thus far was the first dungeon I went through. (Yes, it was the Golden Claw dungeon, but I did it because I got the quest from the merchant, not from the MQ) About halfway through the dungeon I killed a bandit and used a reanimate spell to make him my minion. :hehe:

We went on to kill some dragur, with my zombie moaning creepily the whole time. Eventually he disintegrated and I pressed onwards. I then found a pressure plate on the ground with a spike trap nearby. I cautiously went around it, and then was ambused by around five dragur. I killed two of them and fled back down the hall past the trap, watching with much satisfaction as the trap smacked into the remaining three, killing all of them. I had quite the grin on my face after that.

Yeah this one really made me chuckle too, especially since I hadn't been to Markarth yet. It was like a free carriage ride to a new place!

I went to the inn in Ivarstead and this guy called Sam G.......... (cant remember last name) was sitting there so I spoke to him and he challenged me to a drinking contest and well you know the rest.

he was there the third time I went to the inn. don't know if you will see him there. he may be a random thing and appear in different inns. not sure. good quest though. :celebration:

For me it was when I went back to a town to sell my stuff. I had gotten a lot of good armor from the last dungeon and sold all of the armor I was currently wearing. So I leave the store and the first person I pass says, "You do know that you aren't wearing any clothes. You should put some on." I go to 3rd person mode and see that I had been walking around in my skivvies!!!!!

That was awesome!

I didn't plan on going to Markarth for ages. I was still doing stuff near whiterun.
I played for like 25 hours and hadn't even left the area around the throat of the world. I was still exploring and that Sam ruined it. :sadvaultboy:
