That just sums up Christmas perfectly, doesn't it?

I need a new espresso machine. Shame I don't have the nearly-a-grand it costs to buy a good one.
On the up side, I have a sweet sock collection by now.

I keep asking for pants, but get shirts =/

Not that I mind being pantless, but I kinda need them for work and it is getting a little chilly.

A watch
Slushy machine
DVDs (Rango, Battle: Los Angeles, Cars 2)
Video games (Battlefield 3, Call of duty: Modern Warfare 3)

What ever I don't get I usually buy the next day during the boxing day sales anyway.

My girlfriend got me a coat and a hat Not sure what I'm getting her yet. The best part is just being able to spend 12 days at home.

And I'm still not getting the hang of this. Every time I see the title I think "oh, that'll be flip-fops, sunglasses and a beach towel, then". "Holidays" and "winter" don't quite seem to go together, at least from my perspective.

As my family does not celebrate Christmas, nothing.
Instead I'm going to Hungary for a week, where I will spend my own money for my own good.

I only have a few things so far that I am asking my parents for. AC: R, a wired Xbox Controller for my PC, a Speedometer for my bike... and thats it so far.

I'm kind of hoping I think of something else before its too late.

I already bought my own gifts. The money I spent will be reimbursed with whatever money I get for Christmas.

Money so I can finally build my high-end PC.

Already saved up $1100 from work, getting $250 from my parents, then whatever money I get from my biological dad and his side of the family. It's gonna be hella nice.

You should check out something like my rig, unless you need the absolute best of the best, I'm playing Skyrim at a constant 60fps with V-Sync and max settings (my computer is in my sig, I forgot to add the 8GB of ram to the list btw.

You would already have far more than enough money.

The Skyrim soundtrack, which I already bought but won't get here for ages.

Yet another monitor, because my old one's on its last legs and I already fell in love with a dual-monitor setup.
The technophile in me wants an ASUS Transformer Prime, but I have no use for a tablet and am trying to resist the urge.
As many CDs as I can get, probably some classical box sets.

Money so I can finally buy Skyrim and Equal Rites, one of my favourite Pratchett novels that sadly went missing earlier this year.

Only a few books on my list this year. Although I've also picked up the Small World board game as a family gift for my wife and I.

Ars Magica: The Cradle & The Crescent

The Jupiter Theft, by Donald Moffitt

Saint Leibowitz and the Wild Horse Woman, by Walter M. Miller, Jr.

Animals Real and Imagined: Fantasy of What Is and What Might Be, by Terryl Whitlatch

I have a hard time figuring out what I want as well, this year it's two games, three music albums, and a couple of books.

By a couple of books I mean like ten, I love my books!

a long shot, a long, list: a new job; a new semester in college come January; for my car to be fixed and work; money to pay off my credit card debt; some of personal issues to be done with; vacation would be nice, preferably to Italy or Jerusalem; a... never mind. i think that's about it.

I'm getting an ASUS Transformer Prime. Though actually it was my birthday present but it's taking too long to come out over here.

I'm also getting a phone though I haven't decided which I want yet as I have no clue about phones.
