Things that are on your "Holiday" list

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 7:55 am

So, what are on your guys' nondenominational winter holiday lists? Personally, I always have a hard time coming up with things that I want, and then my parents and extended family feel bad getting me completely random things. So hopefully there will be some good suggestions!

As of now, the only thing on mine is a pre-order of Mass Effect 3, some new drum sticks, and.... Yeah, that's about it. :P

A tablet, a book, boxers, and an SD card.

All I want for Christmas, is youuuuuuuuuu ~

Seriously though, my new PC. Which is my entire Christmas (plus my own money), so not nothing else is on the list.

I don't make a list. I make zero assumptions as to even getting anything, that way anything I do get is a nice and welcomed surprise.

I did make a secret santa list for work, though. Put down the manga guide to databases (the cover is just so adorable!) or My Neighbor Totoro as my suggestions.

This.

I actually wanted some shirts, but I ended buying these before the Holiday anyway. http://i438.photobucket.com/albums/qq102/Starforce9/SkyrimEpicness.jpg

Nothing else I really want until AMD comes out with the new 7xxx GPUs or Nvidia with their 6xx cards.

I didn't ask for anything specific, I prefer my gifts to be a surprise.

I'd like a nice pair of socks though. People never give me socks, they always insist on giving me books. <_<

I thought you meant the summer holidays. Christmas has been rather disorganised this year; anyway, new computer speakers (thanks, iGuess, for recommending the M-Audio speakers, albeit not my question!), clothes, shoes, cheese (really!) and a new sword might be nice though I've been far too disorganised there.

I would like quite a lot of things this year.
My student budget has inhibited me from buying nice things throughout the year (except the vast amounts of alcohol ;) )

I've asked for:
Skyrim
Fifa12 or Football Manager12
and some football boots.

I usually get a few small items of clothing so hopefully i'll get a few t-shirts or whatever as well.
I'm so excited!! ^_^

There was recently a "buy two games at or above $29.99 and get the third free" sale at my local Best Buy so we got myself Assassin's Creed: Revelations, my brother Super Mario Galaxy 2, and myself Uncharted 3 for the price of two new games. I'm also hoping for Final Fantasy IX.

You can say Merry Christmas if you want, you just can't have the government going around and saying it. :P

But http://www.amazon.com/Legend-Zelda-Skyward-Remote-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B002I0GEHI/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2IM3NIFWLZ1YI&colid=3JO60NS3NNIYQ is on my Christmas list.

Nothing better to keep you warm in the winter than nice fluffy pair of socks :D

Unlike the holy socks I have :shakehead:

I have asked for the Corsair Vengeance 1500 + Saints Row 3 headset bundle, a watch, some clothes and a bit of money.

At this point, money and fabrics. Can't buy my own ponies, I'll just have to make em during the Christmas break. Don't really care for video games, as I can buy anything I want on Steam. Though, I wouldn't mind a few DS games.

Also booze. Can't have enough booze. In fact, I may seem like a lush at work with what I put in for suggestions to my secret Santa. Not that I am.

I sometimes wonder if my dislike of socks is a bit churlish. Actually I don't dislike socks in themselves, that would be mean.

The only socks I dislike are holy ones, nothing more annoying than your big toe poking out of it

Well, I know I'm getting a new set of golf clubs. I also had some Turtle Beach headphones and all of the seasons of Mad Men on Blu-Ray on my list.

DVD's. I love buying DVD's. I could quite easily spend hours looking at cheap DVD's to buy. So far my list includes

Doctor Who Series 5 ( I own all the other ones, except for classic Who and the Christopher Eccleston season.)
Family Guy seasons 5-10

I'm sure I'll get a few bonus ones as well. I can't wait I love the holidays.

Edit - And a gaming chair of some sort would be great.

Hmmm not much interests me tbh, games I already have most of what I want, or they come out after christmas.

Maybe some CDs or something.

Wait, CDs?? As in a disk? What are you, 50 years old? Living in backwards-country-of-the-past-istan? CDs are so 3 years ago. :P I kid.

Joking aside, maybe you should ask for an mp3 player instead :P

I'm still trying to get used to new LPs not being released on vinyl. Joking aside, mp3 albums? Really, no. If I must have digital it has to be FLAC, or at a pinch, Ogg. I'll only get mp3s if they're free (and then still not enthusiastically) or if there's absolutely no other way.

Hmm I want cupcake books and general cupcake items (like bakeryware and sprinkles etc...). I would quite like Walking Dead season 1 on DVD but don't think anyone will get me that...Clothes maybe?

In terms of gaming stuff I'd quite like Dead Space/2 since I haven't played either and keep missing them being on sale on Steam. I'd also quite like Anno 2070 but wouldn't mind waiting til it's come down a bit as it's brand new.
