Things that are on your "Holiday" list

Wait, CDs?? As in a disk? What are you, 50 years old? Living in backwards-country-of-the-past-istan? CDs are so 3 years ago. :P I kid.

Joking aside, maybe you should ask for an mp3 player instead :P
<3
I have an Ipod, I jsut want CDs so I own the physicl copy of the music, not some digital crap on pple that may not be there in years. Also I like owning it, seeing the disk and the case. Only acception to that is the rammstien album "Mutter" it creeps me out.

I always feel the odd one out around Christmas and birthday times.

I dont want anything. If i wanted it, id go buy it myself :bolt:
The only time i really buy stuff for someone else at these times is if i give someone else the money to go buy it, or i just give them the money to buy what they want.
Slightly annoying when i get asked and asked what i want, and then the "There must be something you want"

And dont get me started on Christmas songs..

Maybe im just a grump :P

Money to spend when I figure out something I want. Other than that, MW3 and the newest assassin's creed are on the wish-list.

Don't worry, I can definitely relate. :P

Although every once in a while I do like me a good relaxing Christmas song and to sit in front of the fire with family..... Ahh.... It's a good time of year. :)

Already got my gift, which was some cash towards the purchase price of http://guitarparadise.com.au/uploadedFiles/1248668389879-4261.jpg when I found it for a great price back in October. Other than that, I'm hoping for a new bottle of my favorite cologne. That is all.

I dont know of any 'Winter' Holiday coming up. But its Summer and Christmas is nearly here. :toughninja:

I know most of my presents from people, because they ask me what I want. I know I'm getting a few book series, a few DVDs, a new TV and some gift cards.

 As absolutely cheesy as this sounds/is: I have enough crap of my own and anything I truly want, I buy myself so I ask those who want to spend money on me to donate that amount to the local SPCA in my name. I've gotten more then a few groans and eye rolls over it, but honestly, I'm working on thinning out my hoard, I don't need more random stuff to add to it.

(I also think the answer completely depends on how old you are. I'm past my childhood/early advlt years so Christmas isn't quite the same anymore.)

Edit: Actually, I did ask my boyfriend to get me Fruits Basket on DVD. Though if Christmas comes and goes and I don't receive it as a gift, I'll buy it myself.

I can respect that, I feel the same way about video games and everything related to them. As for them not being there in a few years, that why you back you files up.

Nothing anyone could easily get me. But if I were in some perfect world:

ESP custom super strat of some kind with a flamed maple top in a grey see through finish
Peavey 5150 Block Letter
Mesa Oversize 4x12
AxeFX II
SSL console
1176 clone compressor
better room acoustic treatment
Superior Drummer 2.x
Metal Foundry
Any decent Waves bundle with a good itb comp
Ozone 5
Shure sm7b

Maybe some nice button-up shirts but I don't trust my family members to get any that I'd wear

Capture card
Surround-sound headphones
A few games

Not too much on my end. Hey, at least I know I could handle everything I actually want.

I asked my sister for a sweater or sweatshirt, since I kinda need more warm clothes. Aaaaaand I'm looking for an iTunes gift card since that's what my brother asked for.

Everybody gets one gift from one other person in the family as decided by random draw, makes things easy. Beyond that I have no aspirations for the day. Already bought myself everything I wanted (Skyrim, new Laptop earlier this year, a few on-sale Anime DVDs, some My Little Pony toys). I'm content in my accretion of material things and require no further additions.

Now, all I want is the cash.... :ermm:

Usually every year I hit out with 3/4 games I want and a load of other things like DVDs/Boxsets, clothes and sweets.
But this year I've actually been cutting my list down: I hate like 4 games and DVD Series listed but cut all but one game from that list - Batman Arkham City. I just don't feel the need to want much of what I don't need anymore, maybe I'm being considerate of how much my wants will cost.

We're gonna buy the kids some wine, cheese wheels, and gift certificates or debit cards. Momma gets to go shopping for clothes...I gets a new 1Gb video card...this 512Mb Geforce 9800 GT ain't cutting it for Skyrim. I can play, but marginally.
That's how we do it. No big surprises. It's hard to just go out and buy something for somebody in our family. I'll get something special for her...flowers or something...at the last minute naturally.

That just sums up Christmas perfectly, doesn't it?

I need a new espresso machine. Shame I don't have the nearly-a-grand it costs to buy a good one.

World Domination with a massive army ready to take on an alien threat is on my Christmas wishlist!

But really all I want is some things...like a sword...a shield...and some steel plate armor. Yeah that's it. But that ain't coming true so I'll just buy video games!

This year I'm actually going to put some rum in my eggnog. ftw!
