How long until we see the first mods?

I fully intend to start moving Mesogea into Skyrim as soon as I can work out the editor.

I'll wager that there will be mods posted by the time I return from the midnight release.

Depending on how different the new files are, some mods may be released even before the CK is released.

When FNVEdit and Tesnip work with the Skyrim ESMs, you don't need the CK for mods that change game settings (e.g. Timescale).

Texture and (basic) interface mods don't require the CK anyway, so they will show up as soon as there are tools to unpack the BSAs.

It might be interesting to note that the first Oblivion mod uploaded to TesNexus was a http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1791.
Interesting, how did you narrow that down? The file id is pretty high (1700+), so I would think files with lesser ids came first.

Unless the data file formats have been radically changed, the first mods will be out in a day or two, regardless of the release of the Creation Kit. We saw that when Fallout 3 was released. If a Creation Kit were released on launch, it would be more to the tune of a few hours.

Love your sig. I myself only finished two quest lines ... neither were the main one.

Edit: TESNexus also contains Morrowind mods ported from TESSource, so it is reasonable that the id starts pretty high.

Love your mod - I am guessing you are Zumbs of the lockpicking mod fame! PS: Confirmed from your sig. :)

Ah! That makes sense.
