Bad sign from Pete's twitter...

If 1.2 doesn't fix it, everyone needs to DEMAND a PRODUCT RECALL/REFUND simple as that.

Yeah, cos that works….

Just so you guys know, there are two different Twitter accounts claiming to be Pete Hines. Far as I know, THIS one...

https://twitter.com/#!/DCDaecon

...is fake and posts sarcastic remarks about PS3, including the silly one about a fix coming in 2012.

https://twitter.com/#!/DCDeacon

THIS one, is again, as far as I know, the legit account for Pete. Note the similar spelling. A fair mistake. You should really only read tweets from the second one if you want to hear from Pete. Or you can look at the first one for a laugh. Hope that clears up some confusion. Things move fast, though, so it'll probably get buried to page six in one minute.

Ummm, I posted from the legit one, but, ya know. Fair mistake. The full response/tweets can be seen under the "@ErikWithNoC Look. People are reporting issues. We need to look into those reports and fix whatever we can. That's what we are trying to do." tweet. This is from http://twitter.com/#!/dcdeacon, which I am 99% positive is his legit account. I just can't tell if he's being sarcastic as it's hard to convey that from the internet, but I would assume(and hope) so.

Just starting to get frustrated that I payed 60 bucks for something I have been waiting so long for and it's showing such serious problems. I don't mean to direct anything at you or other members if it seems that way. We are all refugees on the same sinking raft in s#!t ocean atm.

I agree that they could be more open about how they're going about fixing the lag.

But they couldn't just come out and say "Don't worry guys the next patch will fix the lag!"

Yeah they can. Simple. Look at the issue. Tell people they aim to fix it, there doesn't have to be a how or when in there, just as long as people know that it's being addressed.

And I now understand the troll is posting under the legit account. I see, I see. I'm a twitter newbie. Please forgive me.

Well they've already done this.

At least Pete has said this essential thing many times on his twitter.

Actually, no. @DCDeacon never posted anything about Dragon Shout DLC or patches being made available in March 2012. @DCDaecon did, however.

But again, they never have in the past. Like I've said, all you ever get out of them is "We are aware that some are experiencing troubles, and we're looking at fixes" and not a peep until the Patch is announced. It's SOP for Bethesda. This is how they operate.

They've never had a game THIS F'd up in the past though.

If they don't fix this... I fear for their reputation.

Fear for their reputation? I want to see their reputation torn to shreds, demolished, and irrevocably destroyed... just like my hopes for Skyrim.

Ha. No problem. It can get confusing with the similar names. The troll is pretty clever with the disguise, and actually kind of amusing.

I think if they don't fix this or correct it with their buyers, then they are committing company suicide.

He's actually pretty quick on the replies and witty in most cases. It's now giving me something to read for the evening. Can't say I don't understand his frustration though.

Indeed. I haven't experienced any problems in PS3, with a save approaching 10mb, but I feel inclined to check out the PS3 board to see if anyone is having any luck with it. I just want fellow PS3 owners to enjoy the game as much as I am. The Pete Hines imposter seems like a disgruntled PS3 owner trying to vent, and I don't blame him.

Joking?

This is a problem with the game engine and the ps3. Bethesda isn't going to fix it. They have had the same problem for the last three games and have kept on saying they are looking into it but it's never fixed. If they could do something about it, they would have before they ever even started programming for Skyrim.

Check the support boards for the fallout games. Still waiting.

It's not going to be fixed. Live with it or take the game back. As far as company suicide.. they have been raking in the money even with this problem for the last handful of years... why would they bother changing it now?

They don't own the game engine, so they can't work on it and evidently they are not smart enough to make their games work with it like Rockstar has.

Hmm, Yeah I would actually feel slightly better if that happened.
