Who is stuck at work?

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 5:26 am

I've spent far too much of my work week browsing the forums instead of working... Still over 6 hours before I'll be back at home. Luckily my girlfriend is going to see the new Twilight movie tonight, so I have the evening free to play Skyrim.

I'm just leaving. Though we're currently under contract working with a game design company to help them fix one of their upcomming games, so its not that tough :)

How do I get one of those jobs? :)

2 hours left. Then 1 hour of weight lifting. Then off to a manicure/pedicure. Hey, a warrior's gotta have wicked nails when she guts those gol-mongering bandits. Then home for a few hours of Skyrim before heading out to help set up the gym for tomorrow's gymnastics meet. In the gym all day tomorrow working the meet and cleaning the gym afterwards. Finally, have all day Sunday for Skyrim!

I didn't go to class today. Who care about human service policies and how to deal with the mentally ill when I have a world to save from dragons. Don't my teachers know that this is important?!!

Edit: On a better note I will pause for a little bit to get some work done and go to work but it's on again after work tonight.

7:00am to 3:00pm shift. Off all weekend. Next week will be where I get the major chunk of this game done though. Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday off. Each day I reluctantly shut off the console and go to bed, waiting for the next day so I can start again. Only thing that helps me get through is the 4 or 5 co-workers who are playing through Skyrim right now as well. Retell a few stories, tips and tricks, what the best weapon we've found so far etc. Helps the time pass.

It's been a long time since a game has really held my interest the way this one is.

Just curious if anyone else out there is stuck at work counting down the hours until I get off. Debating whether or not to take a nap so I can play longer with more energy, or to start once I get home until I crash haha.

Haha, I've been horribly unproductive at work all week thinking about Skyrim. Can't get it out of my head (which is why I'm browsing these forums instead of getting work done). LOL!

I got to take off 2.5 hours early because of server failure, which actually bugs me, because I didn't get to finish off! Atleast I can play Skyrim and drink beers :brokencomputer:

Wow guys,

I had no idea there were so many of us stuck here at work, indulging in the forums yet still yearning for the moment we can revel in our characters. I'm so glad I'm not the only one! You all have made me feel way better, can we make this an official "stuck at work" thread? :)
