Makes me laugh how many of us are daydreaming about it

Seriously, things in my life cease importance now since Skyrim grabbed me.

Food, sleep, girlfriend, mortgage, bills and children.....

Dude, "being stuck at work thinking about Skyrim" describes my condition in the last week.

I'm only 20-22 hours into the game. Some of these people here have put in more than 80 hours.

And it's not just work, either. It's social commitments too. I was supposed to play the game all night after work last night, except a friend of mine wanted to get dinner and hang out, couldn't say know, only ended up playing it 2 hours last night.

On the other hand, this is very much my playing style. I did the same thing with Oblivion. Over 3 years I played no other game, and put in 300+ hours into it.

Yeah stuck at work for another 1h 45

At the moment I'm constantly thinking about being on it, dreaming about it when I sleep etc....

At home: Play game.

At work: Figure out problems / research game.
Same here. I spend most of my time in the pc support section looking for ini tweaks and fixes that I may want to try later. About three hours to go, hopefully.

I have a secret browser window full of mods to try, these forums and ini tweak suggestions that I can minimise in case of intrusion.

so funny...I teach middle school, and some of my kids are rpg gamers like me, and now during breaks we'll have discussions about various skyrim character builds etc...some of my studentss have some pretty brilliant ideas about perk distribution(s)...they're always pleasantly surprised that their 40 year old teacher is a gamer...I tell them, these games were "invented" when I was a kid :) so, yeah....I think about it at work lol...and my wife and kids still thinks I'm a total dork, but hey....what's a married gamer to do?

I'm at work. Not like it matters anyway. Still can't play the game and it doesn't look like I'll be playing for a very long time. I don't have money for a video card.

Yeah at work, trying to get the daily IT production out so I can move on to all things Skyrim. I know my wife wants to go out tonight and I'd just as soon stay home and play, no that's a real nerd! :)

Just curious if anyone else out there is stuck at work counting down the hours until I get off. Debating whether or not to take a nap so I can play longer with more energy, or to start once I get home until I crash haha.

Been stuck at work a total of 5 days this week. Worse yet tonight is girlfriend night and she doesn't approve of my gaming habit :( so probably no Skyrim for me until tomorrow ...

Here I sit at work commenting in the forums while it's slow. The fact I don't work weekends adds to the anticipation

I'm just leaving. Though we're currently under contract working with a game design company to help them fix one of their upcomming games, so its not that tough :)

Me: :(

The worst of it was I had to abandon my destruction based, wide-spread skillset character when he started to fail at pretty much everything and start all over on another build. I feel like work is squarely in the way of me catching up with my new character was to my old one. Stupid work for jerks... :)

I'm definitely counting the hours until I can go home and play all weekend (with a break for football on Sunday). Thankfully, I get Thursday and Friday off next week for the holiday which gives me a nice four day weekend to adventure in Skyrim.

I'm lucky enough to not being addicted, because I didn't had time to play more then 1h30 yet. Won't play this afternoon because my girl friend use the computer to finish a contract, but free all week end to play finally!!!

Then I'll be as miserable as you are all!!!
