Who is stuck at work?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 9:12 pm

Just curious if anyone else out there is stuck at work counting down the hours until I get off. Debating whether or not to take a nap so I can play longer with more energy, or to start once I get home until I crash haha.

I am... And I have running training afterward. Not only that, my running buddy who is also addicted to the game won't be there today so I won't even get to talk about it... It'll be past 10PM when I finally get to play!

Oh well, weekend is coming up :celebration:

Haven't been addicted to a game for years...

Yes, I too am at work and can't stop thinking about continuing the adventures of my characters.

BUT.

It is all fiction and has no tangible benefits to reality. Focus on reality first, do you job the way you are expected to do it. There is NO SUCH THING as job security anymore. Family is eternal, whether it be good or bad, Imagination is forever, games however are sadly fleeting escapes.

I work from home but can't stay away from the game, it is just super awesome, best gaming experience for a long time! Thanks Bethesda for saving the gaming year!

Same here, I'm really hoping my buddy doesn't call me to hit the gym. You will have to pretend you are being chased by a Frost Troll!

Amen. I am the only one in the office so I keep playing the theme tune on Youtube asking myself if leaving 2 hours early is so bad.

LOL, I really hope your boss randomly walks in and asks you where to put his perks.

Haha yep me too. It takes up 97% of my brains daily processes, I came to work today naked, hungry and with a serious lack of sleep.

Bingo. Hearing the theme music in my head and sort of planning where to go and what to do when I get home.

I experience something similar. What's frustrated me however is not being at work, but the lengthy commute that takes up two plus hours of my life each and every weekday that could have been spent playing Skyrim. Of course, I was upset over that lost time to begin with, the fact that Skyrim is out now just makes it that much more infuriating. Fortunately I'll be changing jobs soon and that will significantly reduce my drive time. I am quite looking forward to that.

2 hours down, 6 more to go. I'm totally looking forward to tonight because even though I bought Skyrim the day it came out (on steam), I haven't had a chance to actually play it in-depth for more than an hour or two at a time. Tonight I'll finally have the chance to sit down for 4-5 hours and PLAY it.

Also I'm going to be continuing with my newly made Dead-Is-Dead character, so that should be fun!

Ive tried to engineer a reliable lie to get off early, but alas too many previous early afternoon finishes lately.

I am in a trance like state most of the day due to contemplating how to go about a certain task in Skyrim tonight, the girlfriend is out on the town Sat night so get an unbroken playfest from 4pm till 3am!!

Ahhh I wish I could do that all the time.
