Observations so far: lag is still persisting, however not breaking the game. Haven't frozen *yet*. Slight graphical downgrade but idgaf. Will update if anything worse happens.

Edit: lag returns with a fury. I'm tired of this crap.

Some posts which were off topic and/or flamebaiting and responses to such have gone away. Warnings have been issued. I suggest you stay on topic and not respond to flamebait but rather report it. Remember if you flame a flamer you too may be warned. Just report and don't retaliate.

Textures do look a little worse, but I honestly can't tell if my mind is just playing tricks on me because now I'm studying them more than before.

No lag so far. Been running around Whiterun.

Was high noon - decided to wait a couple hours to see what shadows looked like in the late afternoon. Game counted down the hours, then froze. Not a good start.

Overall graphics seem to be the same for me except for shadows. They seem to be much more pixelated now. Textures in snow are still the same horrid blank white with no depth to it. If this has fixed the framerate problem it's only a minimal improvement as I was still stuttering through Morthal and just walking through the wilderness.

Sad, isn't it. I only managed to get a HDTV a week after release, so I know your pain.

It does svck you can't even really enjoy a game unless you have the money to shell out for an HDTV. I do think that it's total bull even though I have an HDTV. I feel bad for people that cannot see a game in its true potential unless they get an HDTV. My brother plays his game like that on SD and he is cool with it because he has never seen the difference. If I showed him next time I visit he wouldn't want to go back. Owning a ps3 is very expensive. Not only do you need an HDTV to really enjoy a game you also need a second ps3 later on because one just doesnt cut it. You are bound to have at least one broke ps3 in a 3 or 4 year run. The ways these company's make money! Not everyone has a few hundred dollars to shell out never mind a grand for a decent tv. Sony is lucky I love God of War and that I've invested so many hours into those darn trophies otherwise I be playing on a pc which with that said I may be doing anyway.

so far nothing foul to report for my game after the patch.
experiencing faster zoning in and out of shops etc...far
less frame rate issues than before. but thats just my experience
of thousands, and is no declaration on if it improved the game
for all users.

quest bugs that i know are still lingering.

dawnstar jarl skald fails to clear his bounty missions from
log thus not allowing you to finish assist the people of the
pale side quest. the workaround is to take part in the
civil war stuff, imperial vs stormcloak...and i believe whichever
side you help should clear that up. i picked imperial and when
we took over a fort i returned to dawnstar to find a new jarl
who then gave me the option to talk to her about having helped
the people of the pale. i presume if you help the stormys then
skald will still be there and maybe will allow you to complete it.
i could be wrong as perhaps this IS the way to finish the assist
quest so run through it and see for yourself.

thieves guild.......i feel for you you all on that one. i have already
completed this quest line as i keep all unique items. lucky on
my part i guess. but being locked out from that fence for selling that
gear and not being able to get it back should be repaired. i cant
imagine bethesda being THAT ruthless on it but i could be wrong.
good luck to you all on that one.

even tho i have finished thieves guild quest line i still have the
talk to bjorn about joining the thieves guild in my log.

thats all i have for now on quests. everything else is running
fine for me.

The game's still stuttering and slowing down, for me. It seems a tad bit smoother in that the stuttering is lighter, but the game still has a fluctuating fps and occasional and light stuttering. It's really just the way the game's fps still fluctuates that ticks me off. It's playable, but still not ideal. Still, it's acceptable and seemingly back to something close to where it was initially, but the fluctuating fps... aaaggghhh. I've noticed some graphical differences (for the worse) in certain ground textures and on one map texture with possibly something different going on with hair, but nothing's too different, graphically.

So far it's running much smoother, have only had a couple of brief stutters. Broken quests are still broken, unfortunately, but in the past hour or so there's a huge improvement.

The game runs better but i still have many bugs. I can't continue the companions quest line because the quest is broken.

Been playing for 42hrs and lvl 25 started to see some lag, with update today it has helped. I see there are lot of bugs in the game, I'm not this is the biggest game out there so I think they more testers at Bethesda.

My experience: hasn't made much of a difference. I still have to restart my game every 2 hours... though the textures look a bit better (which is weird as a lot of people have been saying that theirs are worse).

Basically, for the most of us. Gameplay has improved but not significantly. We're still experiencing the lag. We need more future patches until the PS3 version is less lag and more playable.

I'm in U.S.A. southwest in other words Texas

and so far the patch is working for me I see better frame-rate but still some hick-ups around, still glitches and bugs but I must admit it's much better now.I don't see the whole Graphics being downs scaled at all looks the same as before the patch, but I do see alot more area loading then before.
