-- gamefreeze when trying to save in system menu after patch.

Don't try saving near running water or anything happening at all. Sometimes the game just can't handle it.

Ok, time to look at this.... Also, I am yet to play with the new patch, so this is just my view.

- Duel wield weapons don't appear sheathed on character (art glitch)


I don't actually think this is a bug. I think both weapons showing is the bug. I have never had it happen in my game on the PC, and I have one guy duel wielding two swords. Also, going from http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1267690-duel-wield-weapons-sheathing/page__gopid__19553923#entry19553923, the fact that the sword has no actual sheath like it dose for me, also leads me to believe that the duel showing is a bug.



- Lydia cannot be married despite the fact that she should be able to be.


You have never been able to, so why people think that would change, I don't know.


Memory isn't being reset properly after you load up a save after dying. (shop keepers have same amount of money after reloading)


Shopkeeper money is suppose to reset daily (as in game day, not RL day), not every time you die, so I think they fixed a bug there. lol.


Other than that, the rest seem legit. :P

I am married to Derkeethus who lives in Darkwater Crossing. Every time I ask him for us to move into any of the homes I own, he leaves Darkwater Crossing, goes over the bridge, walks diagonally through a bit of woods to the road, reaches the road, then runs back towards Darkwater Crossing over the bridge and repeats until I tell him to move back to his old place. I have tried having him follow me to the inside of the house I want to move to and after I tell him he doesn't need to follow me, also after telling him to more here, he runs out of the house back to Darkwater Crossing to do the same thing.

Killed a dragon and it's skin did not distengrate and did not collect it's soul.

Finished "Red Eagle" quest, re-read the book and the quest was re-added to my quest list.

Multiple Auto-Saves not exist after dying and restarting.

Other than that and the diminshed framerate after extended play, those are all the ones that I have experienced that arent listed!

All of these have been listed already, but just adding to the pool here. I think the patch has created worse problems than the ones it was supposed to fix. I could deal with lag after a few hours (forced me to take a break!), but these current problems make the game damn near unplayable:

Game crashes my whole PS3 a LOT.
Any help-the-locals Thane quests don't seem to be being counted in Falkreath and Hjaalmarch (the only two I've tried since the patch).
I seem to be experiencing the lockpicking position changes, which is horrible.

And minor stuff:

Armor displays disappear.
Some weapons (Axe of Whiterun in particular) on display stick straight out of the wall.

I'll start checking the original list on this thread to see if I'm having the same glitches and get back here, to add a little more so Bethesda sees the magnitude of these problems.

Just hit the character-stuck-running bug. There went my character over the cliff, whoops. Reloaded from a save that I'd made before the character started auto-running, but she was immediately running anyway. Tried the autorun command; no joy. Tried opening up the controls menu just to make sure I had the autorun (why do I keep typing that as autorum first? Freudian slip?) command correct; couldn't scroll down through the commands.

PC version, via Steam.

Also, the ever-popular, got the quest from the librarian to pick up "Hanging Gardens." I'd already gotten it by then, and I had no option to give it to him. Tried everything I could think of (including re-raiding the old place in case there was a second copy now, or it would get a clue, but no; it's weird seeing a quest indicator icon hanging over an empty chest) but no joy.

Bugs I have on the PS3 after the patch.

The bookcase bug that is mentioned several times, I can activate the bookcase and it will let me 'store' items but they then do not appear in the bookcase inventory, and I can't take items that are in it out.

The other big one I have had is really odd. It happened in two different areas last night. One was in the Saarathel(not sure on spelling, its the first dungeon in the mages college quest and one of the 3 with the medallion quest) there is an area just inside after the mage sends you ahead, shortly after the door, when I enter it I vanish, not invisible, no shimmering and when going to first person I can still see my hands just fine, and the NPC Druagr would vanish when defeated, though I could still loot them if I looked around at the right spot. After going far enough down the hall, I reappeared and suffered no ill effects.

The second instance it happened was in the Dwemer ruins under Markath, Narsomething Zsomething, on the catwalk/ramp in the main chamber. The area that I had the effect happen was smaller, but an active non-defeated Falmer walked into the area after I aggroed it and it vanished also, but still attached, and I could still hurt it.

In both cases it seems that the model just wasnt there to be seen, but everything else worked, collision detection seemed just fine.

I have had issues with using 'Continue' for a load method. When I select continue it appears to load, but will never leave the splash screen, music cycles, and so do the tips, but the game never loads. If I go and use 'load' to load the same save file, it loads just fine.

The bug mentioned earlier in the thread with Bard instruments not leaving inventory after had in happened to me pre-patch with Finn's lute, so it does not appear related to 1.02.

My game has just started freezing every 5 mins or so never had this problem before the patch. I let it cool down restarted and guess what it froze.

PS3 version:

I have most of the frequently mentioned bugs at the beginning of the thread. I adventured early all over the world without a quest telling me to do so, and the locations and items I've found have caused a lot of trouble with multiple quests later on making them un-completable.

Post-Patch framerate improves for about a half hour after booting a fresh game and becomes worse much more quickly than pre-patch. It's unplayable. I just wanted to add that this is really horrible. Thanks a lot Bethesda.

Has the new patch fixed the follower carry weight issues? I know that many people have reported that the game re-adds invisible inventory to your followers every time you hire them, causing their overall carrying capacity to diminish.



Oh, and did the problem with the Markath guards respawning in the temple of Talos get fixed as well? (They are always hostile when I go there even though I have finished the Forsworn quest.)

I've noticed a lot of animals witness murders causing a bounty. The cow in Whiterun was my last witness during a small spree....

Gonna be hated by the people that found it, it took me ALONG time to find it aswell, however *don't know if its fixed AFTER patch will check soon*
but as the date it was actually found out, i doubt it.

Basically you can have multiple sets of armour on the same slot, i HAVEN'T read forums rules yet signed in 3 minutes ago so mod's lads sorry if i shouldn't of posted the link! FORGIVETH ME!

I honestly don't see why people feel the need to do such things, the game is designed in away where you can make yourself quite powerful within the confines of what is meant to be. Then people talk about how they play on master and they can 1-2 shot things... Hello, you're cheating. You're exploiting the game to make yourself vastly more powerful than should be allowed, so much so the game no longer even requires "skill". You can play how you want, but it's kind of [censored] to brag about cheating. Like it makes you the most awesome player ever. Lol I can kill stuff because I'm doing +5000% damage. Good show, teach those npc's!

Another bug I have encountered both pre and post patch, the quest to deliver the axe to the Jarl of Dragon run is bugged if you realse the dragon from the trap to travel to the final mission.sorry i have been so vague i'm away from my ps3 atm

Dnno if that was at me, i just wanted to show the mods the bug was there mate!!!!!
Haven't personaly done it but im tempted just to get 100% destruction reduction on one piece lol
