the patch reduced my save file save about one megabyte so im around 85 hrs of gameplay at 11mb now with out much lag. as i play the lag generally still gets worse. but my main issue is...

i cannot complete the main quest!!!! trying to talk to ulfric so i can get him to meet with the greybeards and he just tells me to talk to galmar and no matter what i do i cannot even after the patch. i tried completing the ice wraith misson and i did but i cannot turn it in!

ive tried joining the legion in hopes to fail the stormcloak misson but literally the exact same thing happens in the imperial headquaters! im stuck in a quest loop [censored] it!!!!!

i know theres a script command for pc gamers, but what about us console gamers. am i literally gonna have to wait until they patch it so i can finish my game???? quite infuriating.

sometimes my characther run in 5 sec, and I cant stop him:S, happend 2 times after new patch, and shouts not always working, and it is not my controller,

ok so here is the bugs i am still getting after the patch
1. Shouts make me lag or freeze for few seconds mainly ice from
2. Unable to start the quest (Reunification of Skyrim - regain winterhold hold) when speaking to the npc she does not start the quest and the cursor stays above her head as if i still need to talk to her to start the quest (tried reloading a earlier save 2hrs before i started the quest and tried redoing it ran into the same problem) also googled quest seems afew people are having same problem.

quest bug svcks i kinda worried about starting any other quests to find out i can’t finish them :(

i not sure if this information is useful but my save is about 6.5mb and my ps3 is a slim ps3 with a 160gb hdd

Since the 1.02 patch, my game will randomly freeze when it needs to do some major loading. Such as fast travel, loading a new area (entering a cave or town or dungeon) or death & re-spawning.

I too experience the dragon flying backward phenomenon and often times it will all of a sudden shoot up into the sky and never come back down.

Also, there's this dungeon, I think it was Dustman's Cairn.. At the end of it you fight an undead boss who vanishes and reappears. Every time he teleports back in, he re-spawns two "phantom" images of himself which are weak and die in one hit. Well the room is FULL of clipping errors, and all 3 of the enemies (even the stupid shades) use shouts...
Guess how many times I had to reload my game, because I got shouted INTO a bridge, or INTO the rock face, and could not move from clipping? The answer, is MANY times...

Bethesda, you could have maybe used another month or two or beta testing the bugs out, there's one or two you seem to have missed, lol.

Sometimes you learn dragon shouts out of order, then the game bugs when you try learning the final shout. I've had this problem with Slow Time. I need the last shout, I go to Hag's End, the wall is there and the sound effects are there, but there's no word on the wall and I can never learn it. Super annoying to have shouts bug out in a game about shouts. Especially when the culprit is: Didn't do them in the right order, when I didn't know there was an order to begin with. It seems Aura Whisper also has this problem for some people (though not for me).

Here's a few I've come across.

- It's already well known, but resistances no longer work with enemies, the player character or any character in the game at all. For example, you are now able to kill a Frost Atronach with frost spells as their resistance has been removed.

- Bookshelves don't work properly in Breezehome. Breezehome is the only house I have so I'm not sure if the problem persists in other houses.

- This has also been mentioned before but doing quests out of order permanently breaks the quest and makes it impossible to complete. For example finding an item that an NPC wants for a quest makes it impossible to give the item to said NPC and renders the quest incompleteable. This is true for 90% of quests that require you to fetch an item for somebody.

- On male characters, there is no difference between the Maskless Shrouded Cowl and the Shrouded Cowl. (not sure about the exact names of the items here but it's the two Dark Brotherhood hoods.)

- Lydia cannot be married despite the fact that she should be able to be.

- This is one is less frustrating, but the game crashes a lot more frequently since the patch.

- Can't complete the Thane of Riften misc quest. The misc quest states I need to speak to the Jarl, but the Jarl has no dialog option for completing the quest. I was getting the dialog option to complete prior to buying a house in Riften. When I bought the house, the option disappeared.

I am unable to complete Arniel's Endeavor and The Only Cure:

For Arniel's Endeavor I am supposed to power a warped soul gem in a convector. I was able to partly power one through the first convector but am unable to power them through any of the others. I've tried all three remaining convectors and followed the quest properly by trying to heat them with the spell that Arniel gives you for the quest. **This is annoying since the majority of my points are in mage skills.

For the Only Cure, I bring the four required items to Kesh, he takes them over to the large pot and begins stirring, then he sits there forever and then just leaves the pot and goes about doing his regular rotation of making potions, checking the fire etc.

Yesss someone has finally decided to make one of these, here's a few I found:
-No stoned unturned quest says 25/24 in the quest indicator thing. Vex doesn't open up a new dialogue when you have all 24 stones.
-Blackreach turns green during the elder scrolls quest and you somehow end up floating or "flying" on water.
-Quest items such as Gallus's journal, Finn's flute stays in your inventory after finishing quest.
-Not a bug but: Impossible to finish Thieves guild quest line if you do not have thieves guild armor.

Here is a variant to the bookcase bug:

Following the patch I am able to place or remove 1 book only. If I do, the case becomes unresponsive/unusable, BUT WAIT, that's not the best part. Anyother interactive game item which requires "Press X to Activate" is also unresponsive/unusable, for example the switch to enter the thieves guild via the tomb.

Also to add, 40 mins play time & had 4 system freezes. :o

I decided to start a new game and once I found my first treasure map found out the chest is no longer spawning. I tried a new game and the same thing happened. I read the map but the chest will not spawn. I have tested maps I and IV twice and both won;t spawn in either game,

I'm getting freaking tired with this games bugs...
I was immersed in gameplay the first couple of hours and then I bought my house and not a single thing works, then to find out stuff will not spawn correctly on table but underneath them. Then after the patch the game already froze 3 times on me...anyone wanna buy a collectors edition?

-Cannot remove daggers from dagger case in windhelm house
- mercer frey deosnt open puzzle door in snow veil sanctum
-sometimes when you load a save inside you house all you furniture dissapears
-my game still runs like crap and lags just about every 10 minutes

surprised I could'nt find these on the rather extensive list:

-Completing the Jarl Korir's quest to retrieve the helm of Winterhold will prevent the Companions' quest "Purity of Revenge" from starting if the helm was found in Driftshade Ruins.

-Certain quest items not removed from inventory even after completing the quest (I am still burdened with Rjorn's Drum, Pantea's Flute, an Orichalcum Ore, and the Glenmoril Witches heads, because I killed all of them)

I've had to stop playing because of the lag, which was hopefully fixed in 1.2, and the first glitch, because I don't want to be a werewolf!

They are not there because they were there before the patch too. Not to mention the patch notes said nothing about fixing those bugs.

I finished the Loud and Clear perfectly, got the key, all items from the safe, and ONLY burned 3 bee nests, yet I CANNOT access Dampened Spirits at all. I am told to talk to Maven, but she's nowhere to be found. Now, I cannot progress through the Thieves Guild missions.

I cannot use the weapon racks in either house in Whiterun or Marakath

I cannot place items on any tables in the houses, I can only place books on the bookshelves.

I cannot use the weapon glass cases. I can open and close them, but it does not allow me to place any weapons in them.

Just code a second set of thieves guild armor, its restricting customers from getting a trophy and like its crap armor anyways unless your low level. It should have been atleast marked QUEST ITEM until upgrade, its got to be an easy and simple fix to just add a chest in the cistern or w/e with a few pieces in it. Christ the brother hood has like ten sets available and you DONT EVEN NEED any sets to complete any of THEIR quests, common guys. I know you put a lot of non linear stuff in this game which creates very hard to test and QA bugs but this ONE is beyond common sense...That's gotta be a FAST and EASY fix.

If you still have lag turn off auto save and rest for a few days. That might or might not help, I dont have frame rate issues but I haven't use the autosave since my newest char pre-patch and ill never use it again.

Yes I can confirm that if you go places and pick up quest items before you get the quest journal entry it will bug.

Sure some bugs with manikins, weapon racks and house / outside textures not right but these things dont stop from quest/story/trophy achievements and are purely cosmetic.

*Frequent Crashes on autosaves
*Frequent Crashes shortly after using WAIT function
*Magic Resistance Malfunctioning, appears to be malfunctioning for NPCs as well (Nords taking full cold damage, and so forth)
*Dragon jerky/skipping/teleporting movements
*Objects disappearing and/or falling through walls/tables (Observed instances include in Anise's shack and Silent Moon forge)
*On one save, all structural upgrades in Whiterun home vanished on patching (though items from them remained and fell to the floors)
*Traversing through doorways spawns character a significant distance farther in than normal (For Whiterun examples, behind Belethors counter, the fireplace in the Bannered Mare, or at the alchemy lab in Arcadia. Corresponding exits ldrop you within the the stall circle of the market). There's several cliffsidedungeons where this could be an instant death fall exiting, and has obvious issues for stealth characters.

Some of my issues have already been reported:

- World events with dragons - sometimes you'll be fighting a dragon, have it almost killed and it just flies away too fast for you to run / ride to catch up to it.
- Dragons fly backwards on occasion

Another issue:

- After shouting Dragonrend at a dragon, it stops in mid air and does nothing. When I run to it it flys immediately somewhere else and hovers again...repeats every time I get close.

Every random dragon encounter I've had since installing the patch has these issues.

I have this problem with Treasure map IV. Maybe others as well but map IV is the only one I have found so far.

Very minor but odd glitch on the Legend of Red Eagle Quest

After taking the sword, unlocking the cave and killing Red Eagle and collecting the now changed Bane sword, when I went back to the Briarheart who had the sword.. he mysteriously spawned 2 more Red Fury swords.. minor... but odd

On the final Larceny item for the Thieves Guild, I looted both Eyes of the Falmer (left and right) off Mercer Frey, but neither triggered the task to sell it to Delvyn. When I go to him, there's no conversation option to sell it to him, and they are both regular items I can drop, sell, or store instead of one being a quest item.

  • College of Winterhold quest: Staff of Magnus/Enter Labyrinthian - the ghosts that are supposed to stand near the entrance never appear, therefore, I cannot get in
  • Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary - The Black Door - telling the door the password, "silence my brother" does not work. It will not let me enter
  • Destruction trainers are not letting me train
