Gameinformer Update May 23rd: Quests

I am very disappointed in this community. After the Skyrim announcement, it picked apart every bit of new information, anolyzed screenshots and artworks down to every pixel, and now?

How am I the first to notice the http://img804.imageshack.us/img804/5379/20120525065204.png in the background that features katar weapons?

Now the problem is, they dont like the idea of an MMO, cause they will not be anymore the ONLY GODS in a game. But... a little secret they dont know! They can choose to NOT PLAY the game... but I think they just dont know.

hardly....

I'll say it flat out:

This is NOT a TES game....period....

TES is all about "You the Single player being THE ONLY ONE who can save the world"..PERIOD!

Look at Lore, the Nevarine, the Champion of Cyrodiil, the Dragonborn.....they were the ONLY ONES who could save the world in their respective time frames.

I fear this game is going to RUIN probably the best open world RPG....TES and its lore is designed to be a single player game...that what the game is supposed to be....if i wanted to play an MMO i would buy WOW or GW2 or some other nonsense......

The very fact that you can smith, enchant, craft, make yourself god like weapons, create god like spells, 100% chameleon, etc...whatever "exploit" (some people call it) that you want to do you could do....all this freedom is GONE with the MMO and that makes it no a TES game...

Those exploits as some call them are left in the game intentionally....its is the aspiratio of nearly every NPC in TES series to become all powerful....thats their goals...seee the Collector in Oblivion, etc, etc...i could go one.

the fact is if you wanted to become "all powerful mega hero" with enchanting, spell crafting, chameloen, enchanting + Smithing +Alchemy crafting was the players choice to mold the world around him the way he/she saw fit......TES Online takes this away...

TES Online is not an TES game.....its nothing more then money grab in the MMO market....

Bethesda...you have a cash cow in your single player TES games...don't throw it all away on this....you have found your niche market in making great free world opwn roam single player games with freedom to do as you want (Oblivion, Fallout 3, skyrim) focus on that.....this MMO nonsense is a bad move for you guys....and i fear for the safety of my beloved TES that you will pay dearly for this mistake in a lot of money down the toilet.....

MMO's are soo.....2000's.....i don't see longterm sucess on this....its just too hard to keep a crowd around long enough to make real money....you better off in the SP market where you can sell for 60-70 bucks a pop and your done with the exceptions of patches and DLC...in MMO your going to have to maintain servers (which cost more money) , listen to players whine, deal with the insane amout of cheaters and glitchers that will exploit this game...this all adds up to money lost...money that could have been invested in another franchise...

I like the Fallout series would have been a better IP for a MMO then TES....because it WOULD NOT have to compete with WOW or GW, etc because it has guns and takes place in a future wasteland vs a magical fedual age setting....which means you would have had a better chance of pulling people from those other MMO with Fallout......because it would have been different.

Bethesda...if your smart....purely for profit reasons...you will scrap TES Online and take the Fallout series online...Fallout is just better position....more MMO friendly....you make Fallout an MMO and i'll buy it...because its NEW, its creative...it would be the first real open world MMo that has guns and takes place in a post-nuke wasteland world...its an instant best seller...the ES Online is going to have to really seperate itself to pry folks away from WOW, GW, etc and thats a tall order.....look at KOTR....

Fallout Online is where the cash is at Bethesda and Zenimax...this TES Online is a big mistake....

Dead wrong buddy, dead wrong.

I think you are wrong. I've always wanted to explore Tamriel and fight enemies alongside other people. Should be quite a thrill to see this series return to it's CRPG roots and away from the console game it has become. Sure, gamesas will continue to make the console titles, I'm just thankful Zenimax gave us CRPG fans a chance to really enjoy Tamriel the way the original designers of Arena dreamed of.
I always agree with what Blackwulf has to say. Wulf, you're one righteous dude! Cant wait to walk the world that is known as Tamriel, svck it Woody79.

On the contrary, I love the idea of an MMO. I'm just not so sure about the combat and graphics (I'd rather give up 100v100 PvP for those), however the questing sounds promising and the devs seem passionate and well-meaning, even if I don't agree with every decision.
