I can't stop playing Skyrim!

Question for you who play it so much - what exactly do you do? I mean there are only so many interesting quests, do you roleplay lots and do dungeons over and over again? I can't see how I could play for the crazy amount of hours as some people do without mods at least.
I tend to roleplay. I use mods, but like to keep many things to my imagination.

Rp is a big factor for a good amount of players.
Immersion factors in as well. The better the player immerses themselves the better it seems (varies among players).

Imagination is pretty important, as well. At least to me. I think imagination makes everything better.

Well in my case:

Imagination works non-stop.
I Role-Play hardcoely.
I have so many mods that you can't recognize vanilla Skyrim after them.

I actually haven't played a Bethesda game in a few months if I don't count Dawnguard, I think I did my last character in July. I'll get back into it eventually. First with New Vegas, than with Skyrim, and I'll probably be playing those two until Borderlands 2 releases.

I can't speak for everyone, but I RP. Other than my 1st character none do more than one "new" questline and my 1st generally only does 2. After their questline is done I do alot of exploreing with them. Doing it that way mean's I don't have to worry about "breaking" any quest's and also the character is high enough in lvl to deal with most things.

Help's that I can spend 2 or 3 real hr's reading books in-game and home decorateing.

Plus for instance I just started playing my first "pure" mage and am doing CoW, now my test chracter did most of it, but that was back in November and I had totally forgotten about one of the area's that you go into and the "Badies" in that area. So it was rather cool to me.

Edit: BTW 360 so no mods

Skyrim is a good game, but it's not nearly as good as some people make it out to be.

I'm sure they are speaking on a subjective level. I love the game, I love to play it, but I'm not addicted or anything like that, I play a lot of other enjoyable games, too.

Lol I bought Skyrim some time after release and am on the 230 hour mark. I really love Skyrim and the funnest thing for me t do is restart the game with a new character; it seems like it always captures that first-time-playing-TES magic. :D I plan on trying Morrowind when I'm done with Skyrim (though that will not come around for a while yet). Though I must say I've been disappointing since the announcement of TES Online; I would much rather have another single player TES in a previously unexplored province, but that will have to wait :( .....

I hope they don't ruin the TES world world with the MMO....I think I'd be disappointed in TES after that...

Beth isn't directly doing the MMO, though I'm sure they are keeping some kind of eye on the ppl that are. I don't think it will directly effect the TES series except maybe get more ppl to play the single-player versions.... or at least that is my hope. Not that I will be playing it anyway.

I know Beth isn't doing the MMO. I'm still worried it could ruin TES world for some people.

It happened in the second Era , It shouldn't really change anything , only add to the Lore and make it richer :D
