Where would you want to build your house?

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 3:28 pm

maybe it's multiple plots of land within those locations? That would be cool.

No it isnt,Gstaff conifirmed its one in each. https://twitter.com/gstaffinfection/status/241977566716653569

I'd build my house around Falkreath. The forest reminds me of where I used to live, and I enjoy the feeling of being in the woods.

Only if you ride your pony upon the boat.

(I don't imagine anyone will get that reference)

Tbh, I think I heard of this before... Hm... Time to dig into my memories!

I just want a small three of four room cabin in the wilderness for my hunter. My other character will have a large home but I'm more interested in the cabin.

I'm with you. Hopefully the plot in Falkreath is in the wilderness near a river.

My ideal place would be near the Northern area of the reach in Solitude's hold, given most of my characters center themselves either in Markarth or Solitude having a go between would be good idea.

I would also build a house in snowy wastes of Northern Skyrim within the mountains.

I'd really like to be able to build my house in the countryside of Riften. It's one of my favorite areas in-game..if I can't build there, I probably won't be getting this DLC. Already disappointed that we can't build anywhere we want...I wanted a house on the shores near the boat to Castle Volkihar.

Above the huge falls in the Rift, south east of Markarth.

Not sure what style I'd want it to be, though. Not terribly fond of most building styles. Too Norse. Now, if I could build a Telvanni tower up there...

in that case propably in DragonTooth Crater, minus the respawning dragon and bloodstains.

I am still amazed that we are even having the discussion of "building our house in Xbox360 Skyrim".

This has always been PC/mods territory.

IMO this is a giant step forward for the xbox platform.

Who knows where this will lead to................maybe our own mods somewhere down the road..............mind boggling!

Is it Tuesday yet????

This DLC has nothing to do with modding itself. It's just a little "build your own home" with restrictions game... nothing like CK.

Personally I'd have loved a flying castle kept aloft by the eye of magnus but thats not going to happen, so I'll settle for something with a view of the water.

Falkreath. Definitely Falkreath. I'm guessing you can't buy plots of land within the cities, but that's okay. I just need a small plot of land a stone-throw away from Falkreath. A windy mud path will run through the trees and lead up to my humble wooden house. It won't be too big or too small. I'll live there with my wife and two kids. Every morning I can leave home and go about my daily routine; First I'll gather some firewood for later that night, then I'll go hunt in the woods or fish in the river running alongside my house, all before returning home and going about my fatherly duties.

Maybe I got a bit carried away, but I've had a lot of time to think about it. I wanted to buy a house in Falkreath ever since the game came out. I only recently bought a house in Markarth and set it all up real nice [which took me hours], but I'd be perfectly willing to take it all down and set it up again in my own house.

I've always wanted a house in the forests of Falkreath, so I feel extremly lucky that they've confirmed that as a build spot :)
