What about AEDRIC quests and artifacts for the next DLC?

Auriel's Shield and Bow don't count? @.@

I don't remember Auriel being part of the nine...

Also the only way there might be an Aedric artifact in any way is that thing is made/touched/worn by the person before they became a god.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like I encountered a lore book in Skyrim that states that Auriel is the elven name for Akatosh (the book may have more specificly said Aldmeri name for Akatosh, but I can't remember for sure). UESPWiki seems to say that Auriel is the elven form of Akatosh.

Aedra are Divines who took part in the creation of Mundus, the mortal plane. Daedra are the ones who did not. By doing so and taking part in the creation of Nirn, the Divines sacrificed the ability to directly interact with mortals. Daedra, as you might have figured, have no such limitation.

There is no real evil or good here. There are Daedric princes who are evil like Molag Bal, but also ones who are less so. Azura and Meridia, for example.

There are a few artifacts that are blessed by Aedra like the aforementioned Crusader's Relics and the Hammer of Stendarr and what not. There could be some sort of questline you go through in order to claim some more artifacts in Skyrim, but again, Aedric power that can directly affect Nirn is nothing in comparison to Daedric power.

You are correct. Here′s the explanation:
Spoiler
In the new Dawnguar add-on, you must retrive Auriel′s Bow in order to avoid / achive a prophecy, depending of wich side you chose (Dawnguard or Vampires). You are sent to find the bow In the quest named "Touching the Sky", where you found one of the two last snow elves, who explains to you that Auri-El or Auriel is another form to name Akatosh. It appears that he used his bow while he was alive. You can also find his shield finding different paragons.

The light side. The Daedra are the dark. More or less. I'm a bit new to the lore myself. Here's another one.

Yeah this is far too black and white. One of the major differences between the Aedra and the Daedra are that the Aedra decided to help in the creation of mundus (thereby sacrificing themselves) while the Daedra did not. Sure many of the daedric princes are outright evil (Molag Bal etc) or Mad/strange (Clavicus Vile, Sheogorath) but some of them carry relatively good intentions like Azura and Meridia (who hates undead with a passion).

I think something that a lot of people are forgetting is that there are more artifacts in Tamriel besides the many Daedric Artifacts, items blessed or cursed with the essence and power of Daedric Princes, and the few Aedric artifacts. There was a book in Morrowind that actually talked about artifacts. Now, I would assume that since the book was official Bethesda content, it is canon. If so, there are a lot of artifacts that could be hidden around Skyrim if Bethesda wanted to put them in.

EDIT: In particular, I would love to see Bethesda add in the Crescent Blade. Favorite weapon of all time in any TES game.
