Anyone else kind of disappointed?

Vampires = ancient beings in general, has there old set ways.

Crossbows = new tech in most vampire movies/games.

They dont fit together.

I never made that connection, but yea, this works. Plus u can still get 1 off a dead dawnguard. Just cant upgrade them since its a dawnguard specialty.

Sir,I take my comment and toss it to sea.(exepet for serana and the crossbow part)

but there is one problem and It's that dawnguard can be a VL too.

But you can't get the rings and amulets unless you do the Vampire Radiant Quests. :P

I just finished the vampire questline....wow....it's so anti-climactic, it just ends.

Very dissappointed, I expected some changes at the end or at least some kind of closure, and to my knowledge they don't even address the Dawnguard, just Harkon. I killed him and then it just ended like any other battle, and for all I know the Dawnguard are still out there trying to eridicate vampires. Honestly, I can't really even re-cap the story all to well, it was so bland and uninteresting, the dialogue was quite boring.

I was hoping this add-on would vindicate the anti-climactic main quest of the core game. Gameplay's fun, but the story and immersion were lousy for me.

They destroy Dawnguard in one of the sidequests. You also get the special "vampire lord" items in sidequests. Go do them! (Offcourse the randomised side quests are endless, but you need to do them to get the "good" side quests) xD

I am just happy that the Vigilantes seem to be done with. Even if I am Dawnguard, I never really liked them. Thanks Vampires!

The VIGILANT's portrayal in this DLC was epic, all of the named ones die IN A blaze of glory.

They're actually damage sponges i killed like 5 guards only with melee.

by that logic you can't become a VL on dawnguard side.

True, but she IS a traitor to the vamps, so :P

I am enjoying Dawnguard immensely and have no complaints. It is well worth the cost of the DLC. One could spend $20 on any number of things that would not be as much fun as Dawnguard. Why do people always have to complain instead of enjoying this for what it is worth?

Its funny how people complain about minor things like upgrading a fort that already has a lot in it or that it lacks a lot of quests which is far from the truth.

Obviously some of you haven't read the OP. I clearly said I loved Dawnguard, just the lack of variety in between the two mains story lines was disappointing.

The only thing that disapoints me are the bugs and the lack of ''money'' based upgradable castles. But the idea for the DLC is good. ow yeah the MH is a little to short for my opinion.
