Yes huskies are awesome. Scealong or whatever survive rough all of blackreach with me. Even tanked a centurion for me once. Can't say the same for that pathetic armored troll.

You managed to get one of the dogs into the Soul cairn? I always leave em in that alchemy room out of fear of loosing him. Did you go back and look for him ?, perhaps a lap around the cairn will get his attention, try going in and out of load areas while your there and waiting in different location. This normally transports your follower to your location, other wise you need to seek them out yourself. Hope you find him.

Oh nah. He actually got stuck on one of the doors in the vampire castle and didn't want to come into the next room with me. I should change his name to Scoob haha.

I figure after 3 days he'll return to Fort Dawnguard so it should be okay. If not, well my save is only temporary until the vamp attacks are fixed, I will start over then.

There was Evil Husky Dogs in a cave with corrupted monks... Didn't knew Dawnguard had some. Should go check that out next time.

I like the ASOIAF reference in calling one of the wolves/huskies Bran.

I prefer Dawnguard's pups over the ones that came in the base game and they kind of remind me of my dog he's a http://www.puppytrader.com/images/breed/Norwegian%20Elkhound.jpg which is the breed that the vikings had.

Very pretty dog. It's a shame these ones don't respawn and apparently won't quiet down either. I'd take them out with me if they did.

Thank you! I wish they would respawn too, it would prevent a lot of reloads if they did.

assuming the huskies are like the hounds for the VLs, they do not respawn (at least they aren't for me - stupid people freaked out and killed them...didnt have a save to undo it...)

Actually, ASOIAF referenced the old Celtic legend of Finn mac Cumaill and his grand hounds Bran and Sceolang. Skyrim using both names for their pups.
