Lakeview Manor: Library, Trophy Room, Bed Room

Nearly complete. Need only one or two more furniture options and possibly a couple of animal heads, but only a couple. Not big on the stuffed heads. Family lives here along with a steward and housecarl. At the moment I only have the Dibella shrine in the basemant, debating if I should put others in if not all of them...just because

Heljarchen Hall: Armory, Storage, Enchanter's Tower

Building is finished, working on interior. Armory is nearly complete, and only a few cabinets, barrels and chests scattered here and there to hold thing while I furnish. Coffin in the cellar (for me) along with the full forge set. I'll put in the shrine base, but no shrines.

Spoiler
Seeing now that the furniture options in the basic house are the same, I'll not be putting in any beds or large tables unless they're also containers. My goal is to just make this my weapon and armor creation and storage / display house. I don't plan on having any kids move in, other than me there will only be the steward. Okay, so maybe one bed for him or her...when I get around to choosing :P

"Morthal" Hall: Kitchen, Alchemy Tower, Green House
I have yet to purchase this house, but I plan on this set up when I do. Like with Heljarchen Hall, I'll not be putting but maybe one bed in for my steward, and I'll avoid any large tables and otherwise unnecessary furniture or clutter. I'll focus this as my Alchemy lab. Of course, coffin in the cellar. Still iffy on installing the forge/smelther and such. Can't see the need for it in this house...but I suppose it couldn't hurt :P

I chose : Enchanting Tower, Trophy Room, Kitchen.
Enchanting Tower is alright. Lots of storage (like the strong-boxes), nice view from the balcony up top.
Trophy Room : Can't say enough positive about this room. Perfect !
Kitchen. Like the oven. But after the initial happiness, I found myself disappointed. Think perhaps an armory would be better.

Great that we can have three houses and thus really make a few different choices.

Ok i have finished using a high level save to build the 3 manors with each different addon at this config. so i could actually see what they looked like and to test the stewards and housecarls. Other than some weapon display issues, everything is running sweet NOW i have finished the 3rd house. All are FULLY done inside.

Lakeview Manor House - Bedrooms, Trophy Room, Kitchen

Winstad Manor - Armory, Storage, Enchanter Tower

Hjer.... (;p) Hall - Greenhouse, Alchemy Tower, Library (views arent as good as the other 2 locations)

Now based on the locations and the way the house looks, i will be reloading that prior save and building differently.

New Lakeview Manor - (Family Home) Bedrooms, Armory, Storage - simply for the wrap around porch feel as this manor has the best weather outside.

The other locations are cold, and snowy most of the time however Winstad has the next best views, if u like water :P

On the 360....First home was in Falkreath, decided on the Green house, Alchemy Tower, Armory, and as soon as I transferred all my junk in there the game started freezing whenever I'd try moving, or exiting the home. So that's one house that's useless. Next one was the one in the Pale. Settled on Bedrooms, Kitchen, Trophy room. Starting on my third, think I'll go with Bedrooms, Trophy Room, Armory. I really wanted to have a home with all three towers, but honestly the towers completely svck, no idea who designed them, but if I were the boss at bethesda I'd fire them immediately. Basically small closets are NOT towers. And the Storage Room option is again a waste of space.

I know this was only $5, but when you feel ripped off you feel ripped off no matter how much you spent, and I feel ripped off.

I've only built one house so far(Windstad Manor), and I chose Kitchen, Trophy Room, and because I HAD to have either a tower or porch I went with enchanter tower(still salty I dont have both, porches are badass).

as for a garden the best one is in the mages college
for the archmage- very similar to the wizards tower/frostcraig in oblivion

so if i am playing a mage thats the place i wouldgo to
once i was the 'boss' archmage

and in my last playthru i opted out of the cellars as well
Don't the arch mage tower has the default slow respawn rate? You have to be away for 10 days for it to regrow and entering before 10 days reset the counter?

I've maxed out my stead at Lakeshore Manor. I'm using the alchemy wing, the greenhouse, and the kitchen for my "RPG" character.
I used a previous character to get all three plots of land a build all three wings to each property. It seemed redundant to find building material for ALL three homes. So, for the RPG charcter I settled for one, it's really all you need IMO.

I have all 3 houses and each is different Winstad is 2 towers of alchemy and enchanting and armoury.

Lake view is Greenhouse kitchen and storage.

And that number 3 (Forget the name) is Bedrooms, Kitchen and Trophy room (a mistake) and the front hall still has a bed for a total of 7 sleeping area's now IF I could just find enough people to sleep in them all at the same time I'd have an army...
